i was kinda skeptical on buying this game thinking it was gonna be the same as the previous MK, but i was wrong! i was always a big fan of mortal kombat ever since the very first one came out. i never really get a chance to play MK vs DC so i can't really comment on that.
anyway, this game brings backs memories of MK1 - MK2 - MK3 a bits and pieces of MK4 deadly alliance. they did however forgot to put motaro on story mode. but that's okay cause i always hated fighting that half man half horse anyway! graphics are cool. control is very easy to learn, but it takes a lil practice. i like the x-ray move feature they added. I also like how they brought back raiden's original move from MK1
some chapters on story mode is kinda hard, specially when your almost at the end. and did I mention shao kahn has a medium to hard AI and has a very strong x-ray move and that cement hammer he has that gets me frustrated. lol.
all in all, I am happy with my purchase.
i'm just hoping they make shao kahn & goro as DLC characters for offline use only!
What's great about it: game play, got it when it was on sale, story mode is long & not short like other games, kratos
What's not so great: not really for kids since it's very gory.
I would recommend this to a friend!

if you liked the 40 year old virgin, super bad, knocked up you will love the hangover! it will keep you laughing from start to end. if your offended easily this movie ain't for you.
What's great about it: comedy
What's not so great: blu ray was on sale the next day i bought this one for the same price

the only bad thing about this game is the very smart AI of the last boss. but with difficulty set on the easiest setting it wouldnt be a problem for players who are new or really good with this game. i just wished that they made better endings for each & every character on this game.
What's great about it: EVERYTHING! AND AKUMA IS ON THIS GAME!
What's not so great: SETH [THE LAST BOSS] AND EL FUERTE BECAUSE HE JUST RUNS ALL OVER THE PLACE
