I bought this a couple of days ago, and it seems to be exactly as advertised. When I was checking the reviews before I purchased it, I had a couple of questions that weren't answered, so I will include those here.
1# The charger plugs into the lower left side of the XBOX One console #as you look at it#, and adds about 2 inches to the overall width of the console. 2# The charger does recharge the included batteries while the console is powered off. After installing the charger #took about 30 seconds#, I immediately began charging both of the included batteries. I don't know if they had any charge as sold, but they both began charging. Full charge took about 30-45 minutes with the console turned off. 3) The included instructions are a little unclear on how to properly insert the batteries in the charger. They say to insert the batteries with the side with the "lighter stripe" towards the clip. The two batteries I got had one side that was ridged, and the other had a warning label. The side with the warning label is the side that faces the locking clip, but the batteries won't lock in place if you try to insert them with the other side facing out. 4) Installing the battery pack in the controller took a little effort, but that was mostly because I was afraid to push too hard while installing them. Be advised that it does take more effort than installing AA batteries, but the battery packs will snap into place when properly installed #read the directions!#. Taking them out of the controllers also is not as easy as removing regular batteries, but again, they will snap out also. 5) Battery life is very good - perhaps marginally worse than a pair of AA batteries, but still more than enough to spend a day playing to your heart's content.
Overall this is a great alternative to using regular batteries in the controller. At this price point #$19.99 when I bought it# the unit will pay for itself in battery savings within a few months.

As one would expect from Infinity Ward, this is an excellent game. For those who played COD:MW expect a similar product, but with a few improvements in the online version. For those new to the Call Of Duty series, this is a very realistic first-person shooter set in modern times, with modern weapons. The campaign game is somewhat short (as noted elsewhere), but it will wet your appetite for more. Before playing the online version, newer players would be well advised to play both the campaign game as well as at least part of the Special Ops series. The online game is what makes ths a game worth purchasing. Again, newer players should expect to be "schooled" early on by the old veterans, but expect your learning curve to be high, and before too long you will be blazing away like a seasoned veteran yourself. The only drawback I've noticed is the occasional lags online, as well as the few players who have discovered glitches to cheat their way into higher scores (online). Neither are common, so don't worry about them if you're still undecided about the game. All in all it is a game well worth buying.
What's great about it: Online multiplayer
What's not so great: Glitches and lags in o/l multi
