What I liked about the old game, you could carry multiple guns all at the same time. With R2 you can only carry two, which is more life like. as far as Doggerfortie's comment about not being able to play with his wife.... The online mode is wonderful, and you can play online.... It is VERY addicting...The only downfall, if you like to play with someone, yes there is a co-op mode BUT it isn;t the story mode co-op it's all together different.... NOt like the fist game... But if it was it would be repetitive and boring!! Would deff. recommend if you liked the old one!!!!
What's great about it: Online play is better
What's not so great: Can't carry as many guns

i got 3 track packs for rock band on the wii but i have the instruments for guitar hero world tour, will those instruments work with the track packs?
Nope, all downloads for RockBand will not work on Guitar Hero and visa versa

If you are asking if you can use the same controllers, then yes you can...The world tour controllers are a tad diff. but you can use them... If you are asking if you can use your downloads once again the aswer is yes

is the blu ray quality the same as a player or is the ps3 different in quality?
I know a friend that has a blu-ray ... and I have a ps3... If you like playing any games go with the Blu-ray quality IS the same and you get a little more for your money..
