I had a huge hype for this game since Epic promised a bigger, more epic sequel. This is partially true. The campaign is great, even amazing at times, and is even better with a partner. The scenery is definitely bigger and you will be fighting more locust than usual thanks to the engine upgrade. However, the multiplayer is just disappointing. Unless your host, which is random now, every game contains lag and at times its just incredible. Also the matchmaking is broken and breaks you with your party every now and then. It takes ages to join a match by yourself as well. Unless you like games with unpredictable lag, I recommend passing on this and getting World at War or Halo 3 if you haven't yet.
What's great about it: Great Graphics,Campaign is really fun and is even better with co op.
What's not so great: Extremely laggy online, Matchmaking is broken and takes way too long, Host is still here and it's even worse now.
