Now don't get me wrong; I've never owned a Speed Queen, but when we asked the repair technician during his second visit to our home to work on a grinding noise this Samsung was emitting what model he would've gone with, he responded with a resounding "Speed Queen." Apart from these two service calls made within the first 8 months of ownership, another minor issue lies with the lint trap. Its plastic "hinge" is beginning to crack from the repeated opening and closing. All that said, I'm seriously considering purchasing the extended warranty that Samsung sent in the mail. Just a courtesy they offer to customers who've had 2 service calls within the first 8 months, I guess.

I've had this for about two months now. I got it while it was on sale and I had reward zone points that took it to a price that I couldn't have built one myself for so I couldn't pass that up. Though I haven't owned it very long, I am thoroughly impressed. I was coming off of two prebuilds in a row that still make me shutter to think about. My PC before last was an Acer that I'd purchased through Newegg. It was a lemon and they wouldn't honor the extended warranty I'd purchased. My last was a CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2140. I know what you're thinkin', but don't let the "gamer" in the title fool ya. It would've struggled with solitaire and then it started crashing and whatnot. This PC so far has tackled everything I've thrown at it without batting an eye and it does so beautifully. My only disappointment was with the included keyboard and mouse. It was a Logitech set that could be picked up for around $14 so I'm still using the set from my last computer as they are better. I was also happy to learn that these are built right here in the Midwest in my hometown of Wichita, KS! In conclusion, you need one of these too.

In the words of Gene Wilder during the psychedelic boat ride on Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory: "And they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing!". Demon Hunter is back for a seventh round of pummeling metal. I can't NOT listen to this album loud. From the opening track 'Death' (which I can picture a boxer, wrestler (WWE or sumo) or the reigning chess champ entering the ring with the chorus of "I am death!" heralding their arrival and striking fear into the heart of their opponent) to the abrupt end to the final track, this has my adrenaline pegged. Lyrics dwell in the frailty of our humanity and need of redemption (I Will Fail You) to righteous anger (Cross to Bear). Bottom line: Lovin' this album and here's hoping they put out at least seven more!

Your opponent's ball flies narrowly past the pallino, leaving you a clear opening to become the bocce champion. You take a deep breath before releasing the ball; it sails over the grass. The look on your opponent's face is priceless. Just when it seems like you have too much momentum, the ball slows to a halt, less than an inch away from the coveted pallino. You take a moment to celebrate and then quickly compose yourself. You've won the round, but this tournament isn't over yet.Challenge your friends and family with Game Party: In Motion, the game that transforms your living room into the ultimate arcade. I have regrets in my life. You don't need to know them all (that's between me and God#, but one of my most recent is purchasing this "game" along with not heeding the advice of those who have unsuccessfully attempted to Party In Motion before me. The potential for a fun time with the family was there, but out of the two games we actually managed to get into we spent more time grunting and sighing than playing. As others have stated, the navigation is a nightmare. You have to select "OK" before, during, in-between and after EVERYTHING and I felt like a drunk mime trapped in a box trying to find "waist level" with my right hand #once it happened to be just under my right armpit). I'm not sure how this game hit Platinum Hit status. I know we need to do our part to stimulate the economy, but not like this... not like this.
What's great about it: It created jobs for some people to produce this
What's not so great: The job satisfaction for those poor people

I'd actually purchased this title new, played it, beat it and then sold it. When I saw a used copy at a fairly inexpensive price I thought, "Eh, I might play that again some day." It visually looks good. It's not too hard (pretty forgiving with the female companion saving you from poorly timed button presses). The 3 stars on Challenging Gameplay isn't a bad thing; it just means I don't recall throwing the controller even once. It's more platforming than fighting. The story was cool, but I didn't care for the ending. It leaves you hanging. So I downloaded the Epilogue DLC hoping that would tie things up. Nope. It just leaves you hanging even further. So I subtract one star for the ending.

I own this game on the Xbox 360 and have been enjoying it. My kids who are still a little too young for the Xbox controls enjoy watching me play it. Now that you can get this game for $20 or less, I picked it up for the Wii for my kids. They love it! There are still a few places that are a challenge for them that they've asked for my help with. They haven't seen all of the Star Wars movies, but that doesn't matter to them. If you're unfamiliar with the Lego games, there's no voiced dialog so there's nothing objectionable to be heard and when characters "die" they just scatter into Lego pieces. Each of the six movies have six levels to play thru and once you've played thru a level in story mode it unlocks freeplay mode where you can go back thru with different characters and access secret areas you couldn't get to before. Each level also has a challenge mode where you have a set time to get thru while gathering collectables so you get a lot of content for your money plus there are additional areas to play around in. Pick it up and enjoy some time with your kids!
What's great about it: Fun(ny), lots to do, STAR WARS
