I can vouch for the sound quality of this speaker set. I got mine less then a week ago. Tried it on my laptop, iPhone, and TV and it sounds incredible!.
I really like the generous cable length, which is quite long, so you can put it up on shelves or wall mount them. I also appreciate that the speakers are not hardwired to the subwoofer (like some other models) and so it is easy to move the speakers around or lead the cables through small holes.
Just like some other users though, I am missing an on/off switch for some reason.
All in all, great sound quality. We shall see how long they will last...
What's great about it: sound quality, generous cable length
What's not so great: no on/off switch
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using this charger for over a year now. I bought it for my iTouch 2G. Not sure what GBEMN is talking about regarding the stiff cable, but that's not what I have. The cable is just like a USB cable and it can bend, twist, and twirl just fine. In over a year I never had a problem with it. Now that I bought an iTouch 4G, it charges that just fine as well.
I've taken it with me when I went to Europe and used it with a European outlet converter plug (not transformer, just a simple US to Europen plug). It worked just fine, since the charger works on both 110V and 220V.
I like the rotating head and that the connector can be folded down.
What's great about it: size, design, long cable, can be used in the US and Europe
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using this monitor for work every day for 3 months now for design work (graphics, 3D, video and print). Don't play games, so can't commant on that area. Sharp looking images, great contrast. The best is the 1920x1080 resolution. I can fit everything nicely on the screen without burning my face up with 2+ monitors. I hate to disappoint, but can't write anything that I'd dislike about it. Bought it for 240, but now that it's on sale for 180...gosh, you can't beat that!
What's great about it: 1920x1080!!!, sharp image, nice look and feel
What's not so great: can't think of any
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't bother - stick to Alkalines
By Mabuhay from Boston, MA
I really can't say enough about how bad these batteries are. Please note that I'm a mechanical engineer by schooling and have been somewhat of a "battery aficionado" for 30 years or so with my charging and discharging experience of batteries for my hobbies (radio control, cars, cameras, electronics, etc).
Nimh batteries are inherently only 1.2 volts. When manufacturers make their devices, these devices are "expecting" 1.5 volts such as what is provided by Alkaline batteries. So your "low battery" warning, if your device has one, will trigger much much sooner since your battery is starting "fresh" at 1.2 volts vs. 1.5 volts.
Further, the 15 minute Energizer charger charges at an astronomical 7 Amps! This gets the batteries crazy hot. Heat is not good for batteries and they will die (i.e. - not be able to recharge anymore) much sooner = DEFINITELY NOT the "recharge 100 times" claim. Of course, if you use a "slow" charger, then yes, the batteries should last much longer. Charge over 100 times? I doubt it.
So why shouldn't you buy these batteries?
1) Add the more expensive cost of these batteries
2) The cost to charge them at 7 amps (which I can imagine is a lot since refrigerators draw 15 amps!)
3) The fact that the 15 minute chargers kill them more quickly, it should really push you to go back to Alkalines.
4) They don't work as well as Alkalines in colder weather (i.e. - try using the flash when it's 15 degrees outside and you'll notice that the batteries, although freshly charged, won't work so well. Pop new Alkalines in there and voila! You got flash back).
So in a nutshell, I'm going back to Alkalines. Or even better, go with Lithium Energizers which will last that much longer! Both don't contain any mercury and you can safely throw them in the trash.

No offense, but I'm just curious. If you are a mechanical engineer by schooling and know so much about batteries - and the fact that one should not buy these ones - then why did you buy them?

well put together
By tizony from wasilla ak
Well, I'm liking it so far. I'm a little upset that I had to pay 599$ for the tablet and no key board when the news and press review said they would come with both, so I was a little disappointed. There's not to many apps at all, I love gems and there's not to many of those as well. Over all if you want to look for something and there isn't apps for it you have to use the internet browser such as Facebook. Another thing I wasn't happy about was that I bought 32gig tablet and over half is being used by the operating system so not much room. I'm not really sure how I feel but I have a month to use it. I've had apple and android and I feel android has there stuff tether and is far ahead then windows, (so far). I'm an android fan but I love new gadgets. As for the feel and technology in the tablet, Asus did an awesome job. Hope I helped. I would recommend this, maybe just not yet.

32G!?
November 9, 2012
Wait! 32G and only 15G is usable? I don't think it's right. Either the reviewers don't know what they are looking at or something really messed up. I mean Windows 7 Ultimate x64 takes up around 1G plain.
The 16G iPad 3 has 13G+ usable space, so it uses 2G+ for OS. Microsoft tablet uses 16G!!!!???? What is THAT all about?

World's Shortest Cord
By FlorenceAppleMan from Florence, SC
Make sure you know what side of your computer the USB port is on and make sure it is the same side that you will be using the mouse on. I am right-handed and my computer only has USB ports on the left-side of the computer; the cord was not long enough to reach from the left-side to the right-side and still have enough slack to properly use the mouse. I have never seen a cord this short on a mouse before. I returned it the day after I bought it; I would have returned it the day I bought it but the store was closed by the time I opened the mouse.

Why don't you say how long is the cord? How short is short? One inch? Five inches? Maybe ten? I think this mouse was designed for the Apple USB keyboard, which has USB inputs on both sides. This way you just plug it in into the keyboard.

Good but memory size too small

Another shopper with no common sense. Has no clue what size his/her collection is. Goes out and buys a product without even thinking. Realizes the product will not hold his collection, so s/he exchanges it for a bigger one.
Shopper with common sense:
1. Determines WHY s/he buys the product.
2. Determines what SIZE product s/he needs.
3. Buys the product.

Can you tell me what a DELL MODEL 1901, (2004 time frame) would have costed?

Take today's price. Multiply it by the square root of PI. Divide by the percentage derivative of the co-lineas S&P price index for today, and finally deduct your logical reasoning time five. If you also add the price of a 60c postage stamp in 1923 dollar value, you can also calculate the price the monitor will cast 23 years from now.

When and how fast do you see prices going down on 2560x1600 resolution monitors?

My graphics card can support it but I'm seeing very few offerings and they're 4-5x what I'd spend.
I see prices fall just as fast as you do. Monitors that support that resolution are usually start around 30" of higher and they usually are more expensive. This is just one facts of life (out of the many). Check online prices as well (newegg, tigerdirect, amazon, etc).

need to know how to tell if monitor is bad or other parts of compter will not let it work?
Hook up the monitor to another computer. If it works, the monitor is good. Don't have another computer? Maybe you have a friend or a relative close by who does. Then you can hook up your monitor to their computer to test it.

Is there a spark proof monitor for rooms that need explosion proof electronics and connections

By definition, manufacturers don't make electronics equipment that create sparks. However, problems always arouse either with design or manufacturing. The best way to "spark proof" a monitor is to unplug it from the wall socket.

Any stereoscopic 3d demo available in Bestbuy?

There seems to be quite a few different implementations, and nvidia 3d vision is probably one of the more well-known one. I am just wondering if there is or will be any demo in my local bestbuy so I can check it out.
BestBuy is not planning any stereoscopic display in the near future. Maybe later.

I have a Samsung LCD monitor that I replaced at one of your stores. I want to recycle it responsibly. One of your associates said you would send shipping label and offer a coupon for it. Please advise
Just call your local garbage company and notify them you have a monitor you want to recycle. Then you can put your monitor on the curb, next to your garbage can and they will pick it up. Don't waste your time with shipping labels and such.

Connecting flat monitor to desktop computer

I have a flatscreen monitor that I want to use with an old desktop. Where do I find a cable compatible or are they universal?
Flatscreen monitors usually come with a VGA connector as well, which you can hook up to VGA output (old computers usually have VGA plugs)

It all depends where you buy it. If you buy it in Europe, then yes it does. If you buy it in the US, no it doesn't.
