Great upgrade to the original studios

First of all I am not a headphone guru but a person who likes to listen to music on my ipod, ipad, and cell phone. I had the first gen Beats studios for about a year now. I bought them at a discounted price of 200 since the new and current models came out. I really like the styling of the new design so I decided to buy a new pair. I went with the eminem blue for a little more flash appeal. First thing you notice is there is not the same boomy bass that the original studios had but a nicer tighter punch of bass that complements the rest of the song. Details are clearer and more pronounced. I listened to every type of music from AC/DC to Dr Dre and even some dub step. The headphones performed perfectly. The padding on the ear cups have alot more padding than the originals making a good seal around your ears. That being said it seemed that my ears would get a bit warmer than the original studios. I have listened to the headphones for about a week now playing about 7 hours and my gauge is showing 2 bars of battery life. I believe these headphones will probably last 12-15 hours instead of the 20hrs as advertised. Over all these headphones perform great. There is a bit of white noise when used in low volume. I recommend these for any aged person as I am a adult and these will probably never leave the house. I bought these on sale at Best buy for 270. I wish I would have bought them when they first came out . If you still like booming rattle your head bass the original studios will be for you.
What's great about it: Style, Sound Quality, Comfort
What's not so great: White noise at low volume, price, Midrange sound down a bit
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Sounding headphones for the price

I have had these headphones for 2 weeks and love them. I have a pair of beats solo and was wanting a bit more range of sound out of the headphones and the studios delivered. The price was right also as they are 50 dollars less since the new models are out. Priced at 199 these are probably the best headphones you can buy at the price. Comfort with these headphones is not quite as good to me as the solos. So far they are working perfectly as I use them at home on an ipod or ipad. I cannot turn the volume all the way up or they get too loud but have turned them up very high with little to no distorsion. I probably wouldnt recommend these for kids as I am a adult and will take care of them. The solos would probably better suit a kid but at the same price it may not matter. There is quite a bit of sound leakage so other people around you can hear what your listening to.
What's great about it: Sound quality and bass are excellent
What's not so great: Has quite a bit of sound leakage
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome phone for anyone.

I have had this phone for 3 days now and I cant seem to put it down. I know that it is not a good length of time to do a proper review but this phone is so great I wanted to write it while it is fresh in my mind. This phone was an upgrade as my old phone was the HTC EVO 4 G. Although that was a great phone 2 years ago the NOTE II is light years ahead of it. Lets first start with battery life. I text, go on youtube, and the internet constantly during the day. My old Evo would usually be done in about six hours or so. I also upgraded my Evo with a 2000mah battery which helped it alittle but does not compare to the NOTE II. I took the phone off the battery charger at 8am and it is 9:30 pm and it is still show 60% battery life which is incredible. Another thing I noticed is the richness of the color of the screen. I have the phone at about 10% brightness and it has great detail and color while indoors or out. The quad core processor is very fast as well. I dont have 4G LTE in the area only 3G and 4G. The 3G on the NOTE is just as fast as the 4G on my old EVO. If you have had a android phone you should be able to adapt pretty quickly to basic functions as Samsung uses a operating system called Touch Wiz. It is very fluid and works quite nicely. Last but not least the NOTE II has the S-pen. For someone who didnt have the old NOTE this is new territory for almost everyone. It is defintely going to be a learning curve as I found out it is not as easy to write on things as they show in the commercial but I am kind of a electronics geek so I will have a good time trying to figure it out. I know most people are afraid of the size but you get used to it in a few hours and realize you cant go to anything smaller. The phone is suprisingly light as well for its size. I was tossing between the Galaxy S3 and the Iphone 5 which are good devices but sprung for the NOTE II and havent looked back.
What's great about it: Large Screen, great call quality, lighting quick processor, great camera
What's not so great: Cant move apps to sd card
I would recommend this to a friend!
