Only good for flat dashboards

I just bought it and I am taking it right back. I'll give this a poor rating for several reasons:
I tried this on three of the many cars that I own (Merkur Scorpio, Audi A4, Ford Excursion) - these being the primary use cars. The mount didn't lay properly on any of the dashboards. I am concerned the sticky gel bottom will get dirty and slide around- especially during "spirited" driving. All three have different dash materials; plastic, soft vinyl and rubber-like vinyl. The slightest bit of dust will be a problem with this mount. If your dash is not spotless, don't waste your time.
I am going to get a long-reach suction mount.

What's great about it: flexible mount
What's not so great: lack of adjustability, sticky back
