Great TV if you plan on using with external sound

This TV has a beautiful picture but I was unpleasantly surprised at how bad the audio sounds. No matter how it's adjusted, it just sounds flat and muddy. I guess that is the drawback of making a television that is only a few inches thick. I bought the set for my wife and she doesn't want the clutter of 5.1 speakers all over her TV room so I had to go with a sound bar, which greatly improved the sound.
What's great about it: Beautiful picture
What's not so great: Terrible audio
I would recommend this to a friend!
