Great family fun

Disney Pixar's The Incredibles is another of Pixar's great instant classics for the whole family. This movie is packed with a good combination of action and humor. I really enjoyed this movie when I saw it in theaters and the DVD is even better with two discs. The second disc has some funny features like outakes and bloopers and two short films Jack Jack Attack and Boundin which are both very funny. I thought I got my money's worth with the puchase of this DVD.
What's great about it: disc two is loaded with special features
What's not so great: nothing

Napoleon Dynamite is a very funny movie that will have you in stitches the entire movie. I liked that the disc included the fullscreen version on one side and the widescreen version on the other side. It also includes some hilarious deleted scenes.

Loaded with original supplements (if not that elusive director's commentary track), the DVD of L.A. Confidential makes its mark as one of the better DVDs in the early development of the format, but leaves something to be desired in the age of the two-disc special edition. Warner DVD made a valiant attempt at a feature-loaded DVD and presented the film in anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen and Dolby Digital. Present are three documentaries (all which fall under the half-hour mark), trailers, TV spots, and a music-only track for Jerry Goldsmith's score. The first documentary, Off the Record, focuses primarily on the task of translating James Ellroy's novel to the screen, but also includes some rare screen tests. Second is a video version of the original photo pitch that Curtis Hanson gave the producers, conveying through pictures of L.A. in the '50s the movie he wanted to make. Lastly, there is a feature that allows the viewer to take a virtual tour -- narrated by the director -- of the Los Angeles of the film by selecting a location from a map menu. While not an authoritative edition of the film, the L.A. Confidential DVD remains one of the best early special edition discs.

Powerful movie

L.A. Confidential is very good movie that exposes the corrupt cops and the corrupt city of Los Angeles in the 1950s. I thought Russell Crowe did an excellent job as a charachter who delivers justice to those who deserved it. This is one the most powerful movies I've ever seen.

Speeding into DVD is the Sylvester Stallone-written racing film Driven. Directed by action specialist Renny Harlin, Warner has done a fantastic job with this disc. Presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, Driven is a reference-quality disc with no imperfections. All colors and black levels are dead-on, without any problems to the viewer's eye. Audio is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 and is also impressive, with directional effects used continuously during the film. Hearing cars zip from behind to front or broken tires zooming through the air will be a great thrill for home theater owners. Also included on this disc is a Dolby Digital French 5.1 track as well as English, French, and Spanish subtitles. Driven could be considered a special edition of sorts. Supplements on this disc include an insightful commentary by director Renny Harlin, additional deleted scenes with commentary by Sylvester Stallone, two separate documentaries titled "The Making of Driven" and "Conquering Speed Through Live Action and Visual Effects," plus an anamorphic theatrical trailer for Driven. Both documentaries provide interesting insight into the making of the film, especially on how the computer-generated special effects sequences were achieved. Racing fans should start their engines and pick up the DVD for Driven if they're in the mood for an excellent disc.

Typical Racing movie

Driven is based on the no longer existent CART series. It seems a little cliche with the rookie coming in the sport and winning everything but the race scenes are very cool. The camera shots during the dialouge change so much at times its hard to follow the conversation but I thought it was a decent movie.

Happy Gilmore is a great story about a hockey wannabe turned into a pro golfer. Adam Sandler is great in one of his funniest movies. This movie is funny and I would recommend it to anyone I know.

the first episodes of Ghost hunters
on February 9, 2009

This DVD set contains the first ever episodes of Ghost Hunters. These are when they caught some of their best evidence. The Race Rock Lighthouse is one of my favorite episodes of all time. I think Ghost Hunters is a must own for anyone with an interest in the paranormal.
What's great about it: whole season in one boxed set
What's not so great: not many episodes

Doug Liman's box-office hit The Bourne Identity gets a new DVD release to coincide with the theatrical release of the film's sequel, The Bourne Supremacy. This "Explosive Extended Edition" of the film offers a standard full-frame transfer that fails to preserve the original theatrical aspect ratio of film. English, French, and Spanish soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, French, and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a new beginning and ending for the film, deleted scenes, a featurette about choreographing a fight scene, a featurette about how much the film resembles actual spy work, a short documentary on amnesia, and a profile of Robert Ludlum -- the author who created these characters. This is a fine release for what it is, but the same extras are available on a different disc that also offers a widescreen transfer of the film. That version is preferable to this one.

The first time I saw The Bourne Identity I was amazed by the amount of action in this movie. The fight scenes are shot really close up and the car chase is filmed amazingly as well. I couldn't stop watching this movie and would recommend it to anyone.

The Dark Knight may not only be one of the best super-hero movies of all time but one of the best movies ever. Of the entire 153 minutes there is none stop action and drama. Christian Bale is excellent as Batman and Heath Ledger is incredible as The Joker. Ledger may have played the best villian ever.

best of the Oceans trilogy

Oceans Thirteen is pretty cool. It has all the same style that Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve had. It was also very impressive to see the 12 of the same cast members from Oceans Eleven. I thought this movie was much more exciting than the other two and it had a great twist at the end.

Does it matter what kind of memory card that can go in a psp 3000?

For the PSP You probably want to use a SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo with a MagicGate logo in the lower right hand corner.

What are the top 10 best games for your PSP

I just bought a PSP and am looking for good games and i like sports but people said the basketball games are bad. Are there any good basketball games and what are the top 10 best games for the PSP
I can't tell you the best 10 games because everyone has different taste. But I can make suggestions. Madden games are all pretty fun. Grand Theft Auto is pretty good. Most other sports games are pretty good. Some good racing games are either of the two Midnight Clubs, Burnout Legends, and some of the Need For Speeds are good. I have also found that Namco Museum Battle Collection is pretty fun too.
