You don’t have to love classical music to enjoy At Home With Friends. Featuring the beautiful work of Joshua Bell and other artists, this CD features a nice blend of genres, including pop, jazz, and opera.
My favorite track is Come Again, which features Sting. It was a really nice song, and it was a pleasant surprise to hear Sting sing in a genre I haven’t heard him sing in before.
I also enjoyed many other tracks on this CD, including My Funny Valentine, Il Postino, and Maybe So.
Bell has surrounded himself with other amazing vocalists and musicians, such as Josh Groban and Chris Botti, to create a CD that both fans and those new to his music would appreciate.
There are just so many beautiful songs on the CD, and the friends Bell has teamed up with both complement and showcase his amazing talent as a violinist.
At Home With Friends is a CD that you can sit down and relax to while enjoying a glass of wine, reading a book, or even while driving, to help you de-stress.
At Home With Friends is simply a musical treat for your ears, soul, and mind.

I really enjoyed the songs on Bible Belt, many of which have obvious gospel, jazz, blues, and soul influences, which is evident on such tracks as Fire Escape and Rise Up.
I found myself constantly singing along to Nothing But a Miracle, grooving along to the mellow beat of Mirror Mirror, and crooning to Photograph, a bittersweet ballad.
My favorite track is Valentino, a fun, upbeat, and whimsical song.
Many of Birch’s songs are reminiscent of tunes of the 70s, and her raspy, powerful voice is simply beautiful, reminding me of other female vocal superstars such as Joss Stone and Norah Jones.
Bible Belt is a fantastic debut CD that showcases Birch’s vocal and song-writing talent, featuring many songs that you’ll never tire of.

I admit that I was pleasantly surprised with the Ballas Hough Band. Who knew that these awesome dancers could also sing? And they wrote many of the songs themselves!
Many of their songs are about their own experiences with love and heartbreak (Fall, Devastated), but despite such emotional subjects, some of these songs just make you want to dance (Do You Love Me, Birthday).
Their first single from the album, Do It For You, is one of my favorite tracks. It was co-written by new American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi, and it's just another one of those songs that I can't get out of my head. I also enjoy Together Faraway--a mellow song with a very catchy chorus, and Longing For--a sweet ballad.
The CD is also an interactive CD--just pop it into your computer to go directly to various Ballas Hough Band sites, such as their Facebook and MySpace pages.
I really enjoyed Ballas Hough Band's debut album, BHB, and I already can't wait for their sophomore album!

I really love this soundtrack, which has a great mix of songs from new and classic artists. I've always liked The Human League's "Don't You Want Me, The Cure's "Friday I'm In Love," and Lilly Allen's "Smile," and now I'm a fan of songs and artists I've never heard of before I received this CD, such as Tristan Prettyman's "Madly" and My Morning Jacket's "I'm Amazed."
New artist Erin McCarley's "Love, Save The Empty," is a catchy tune that is one of my many favorites on the CD, and I was quite impressed with Scarlett Johansson's cover of Jeff Buckley's "Last Goodbye."
The He's Just Not That Into You soundtrack features a lot of great, upbeat songs that just get stuck in my head. I could keep listening to the entire CD over and over again. Lately I've been listening to the CD while I've been doing housework--it makes cleaning so much more enjoyable. If a CD can make housework more enjoyable, you know it's a good CD!
A cool thing about the soundtrack is that it is an enhanced CD, so when you pop it into your computer, you'll view a deleted scene of Scarlett Johansson singing the Last Goodbye.
The He's Just Not That Into You: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has a great mix of songs from a variety of artists, genres, and decades--there's something for everyone!
