This movie is not some desperate attempt to give old Star Trek fans something to spend their money on it was a superb effort at taking Gene Roddenberry's brainchild and making a movie that credits and honors the original series and actors. This will attract a whole new generation (sorry I couldn't help myself) of Trek fans. The casting was excellent, the acting was entertaining and not over the top. The story, even though it involved time travel which has been used before in other Trek movies, offered a new twist that added to the power of the story. This is the kind of movie you will want to see several times and still enjoy. Wow if you can't have fun with movie then you need to get a life!
What's great about it: This is the beginning or the reset on everything Star Trek, it is a must own.
What's not so great: Nothing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
