This is a fine GPS (and I have had far less technical problems with it than with TomTom) except for the points of interest listings. I took it on vacation and would liked to have used it to find local restaurants and attractions. However, I found that many of the restaurants listed were no longer there and there were a lot that I passed that Garmin didn't mention. My old TomTom was much more extensive in this area.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate once you learn it. Great shortcuts to common tasks.
What's not so great: Points of interests (restaurants, parks, etc) are outdated and very incomplete.
