This chord is faulty

I was advised by a Best Buy salesman what cables I needed to hook my PC notebook to my HDTV since I wanted to use the tv as a monitor from time to time. He handed me a Dynex VGA PC Monitor Replacement Cable and this extension cable. Since I wanted to be far away from the tv, the extension cable was necessary. The picture however on my tv was offcentered once I set it all up properly. I wasted several hours calling Dell (my computer company) and LG (the HDTV company) trying to figure out the issue. At the end of the day it was this chord's fault.

For no logical reason, this chord made the entire screen image displaced to the right by about 5 inches. I couldn't see my entire workspace so it was useless. Simple solution... removed the extension chord and returned it for a different brand.

What's great about it: It's a decently made chord.

What's not so great: Doesn't work properly

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
