Perfect all-in-one for basic PC needs

This is the perfect option for someone that wants a regular (non laptop) PC but doesnt want to have to research all the components, then buy separately. You get everything all in one package ready to go.
Specs wise Id consider this mid tier but that does not mean it has any performance issues at all. Everything just worked right out of the box and did everything I need in a PC and did it very well.
The screen is a 27” Neo LED with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and 120HZ. All the colors, black levels and overall screen image are very crisp and beautiful. Its not a touch screen but does have a nice anti glare finish. It also has a lot of tilt to it so you can get it into the perfect angle.
It also has a nice basic wireless keyboard and mouse that works very well with great click feedback and comes with the batteries needed. It also has a nice finish and color that matches the PC itself.
When it comes to performance the Intel Core I5 with 16gb of ram and a 512gb ssd combine to make everything very snappy. It boots up in seconds, can run a ton of tabs or programs with ease with no hiccups, and is an overall breeze to use.
If you are looking for a standard PC set up but dont want to have to research and buy things separately this is the way to go. Everything just works and is ready to go out of the box. Excellent PC and very much a recommend!

Amazing sound and ease of use. Its Party Time!

So many uses. I dont know why I didnt get one of these sooner. Whether its our church worship music speaker, a birthday bash, or just a backyard get together this thing rocks...literally.
First off its very well built and made to last. Since it can be used outside its rugged build is a must.
Initial set up was a breeze and connected to my phone immediately. Tested out several of my go to songs and WOW! This thing hits hard. But of course it aint just for Bass. Its highs and mids are so crisp and clean. I dont see sound getting better then this.
You can control a lot of the functions via the app, but it also has controls on the top for ease of use. The RGB lighting is a nice touch and isnt overbearing.
The 12 hour battery life is plenty for basically anything you use it for. And of course being wireless it can go pretty much anywhere. No need to plan ahead where an outlet is, or carry a 100” extension cord. Take it anywhere you want to go!
Being the life of the party is awesome. Show up with this to your buddies party and instantly raise the bar with the music and lights!! Love this speaker and cant wait to come up with more uses. Highly recommend!

Wow. Hisense has come a very long way!!

I remember way back to my first Hisense TV. It did the basics at a very good price. But they have come such a long way since then. Easily topping the lists of the best picture per dollar out there. My other smaller TV is a 55” Sony OLED. So I am use to a one of the best pictures out there. Does the Hisense even come close. The quick answer is YES. Too close!!
This is my first RGB Mini LED TV. I had seen a lot of reviews of the same type and most said they are as close to OLED quality as you can get with an LCD screen. Well now I see why. The colors, black levels, contrast, and clarity are an awesome thing to look at. And since its a native 180Hz screen motion is crisp and clear with none of the normal motion artifacts you get with for example a 60Hz screen. I was also super impressed at the lack of blooming on bright objects on a black background. For example I like to watch TV with subtitles. And with most TVs it gets distracting because of the halo around the white letters on dark backgrounds. There is almost none of that here.
The sound was also very impressive. It of course wont replace a good soundbar or surround system, but for most folks the sound will be good enough. Plenty of punch to things like explosions, etc. But also with great clarity for voices and other mids and highs.
And I am very happy that it comes with Google TV as its smart system. My Sony also has this so there was no learning curve at all. And out of all the smart platforms out there I think Google TV does it best. Everything is easy to navigate, well laid out, and isnt over intrusive with ads or suggestions. And you can turn a lot of things off to make it an even more plain set up if you prefer to keep things simple.
I am also a pretty avid gamer, and WOW is gaming awesome of this beast of a TV. Excellent performance with no screen tearing or any other issues. It takes immersion to another level when you have a screen this big that performs the way it does!
I also really like the remote. Its backlit which is a must for my TV remotes. I love the metallic look. And its very simplistic with only what you need on it. Your most used apps and shortcuts without overdoing it. It can also be controlled with your voice which I have become accustomed to do.
And another feature that is even better then my Sony OLED is that it has 4 full HDMI 2.1 ports, unlike my Sony which has 2 2.1 ports, and the other 2 2.0. This is a must for people that have several consoles and a PC to connect. No more having to swap out ports or requiring an additional HDMI switch box.
So like I said in the title, Hisense has come a very long way. And with the UR8 they hit a homerun. It does everything I want is a TV and then some. Excellent features at a great price for a 75” RGB Mini LED TV. Couldnt recommend it more!!

Finally got good Wifi all around my current place!

I recently moved to a churchs extra building which is actually a Gym. And the data coverage in this area is terrible, even on Verizons network. I rarely get 1 bar of 4G LTE, and have to go outside and walk around to just get that. Not cool at night when its freezing outside. It also did not have any internet. So after running long cables I was able to get Wifi to where I stay. But it was just a standard router so there were dead spots everywhere. Thats where the Asus Zenwifi 7 Mesh system came to the rescue.
The initial set up took awhile but with patience I was finally able to get everything set up. Took about an hour for set up and the proper placement of each node. The Asus router app wasnt too hard to follow and without it I doubt I would have ever figured things out.
Once set up I ran some tests where my phone use to drop Wifi to try to get a data signal. And now all the dead spots are covered. Easily pull 200+ MB/S now and more if Im closer of course. The only issue I have had which is very rare is that a node will drop coverage once in awhile. But after a power reset it always comes back.
This is exactly what I needed to get proper coverage at my place. No more stepping outside in the cold wandering around with my phone in the air.

Nice affordable gaming laptop 2 get into PC gaming

First thing I noticed about this is just how cool the laptops design is. I love the matte black look and attention to detail. Even the bottom has a very cool design which a lot of other laptops dont care about because its not seen as much. The laptop itself weighs in at just under 5 lbs and is fairly this as well at under an inch.
I love what they have done with the keyboard. The blue really pops and lights everything up so all keys are very easy to see. The feel of the keys is also very good. Nice feedback and easy to press, as well as super quiet which is a nice addition.
The screen looks excellent with very minimal bezels. Although an IPS and not an OLED the full HD screen is very crisp with popping colors and very good contrast and black levels. Although not a touch screen which is of course not needed on a laptop centered around gaming. It also had no screen tearing or any other graphical issues and with a 165hz display all movement was nice and smooth.
When it comes to performance everything went well on medium settings for the most part. The AMD Ryzen 100 series along with the RTX 5050, 16GB or Ram, and a 512GB SSD had everything running with no issues at all. As a regular PC with running multiple programs and tons of tabs it just asked for more!
Gaming on it works excellent as well. I tried out high settings and it seemed to prefer most at medium. And I there was no real major difference. All my games ran well and had no issues at all.
Battery life claims 14 hours. Of course this would be with minimal usage. I never ran it out but I can say at medium settings you could get a few hours of solid gaming.
Overall this is an excellent entry gaming laptop to get into PC gaming. Affordably priced, excellent build, and great specs. Highly recommended!

Excellent all around laptop. I love Acer laptops

The reason I love Acer laptops is because of the Acer R5-571T I still have. Ive had it for over 10 years. Its gotten a bit slow and I cant install Windows 11, but I have never had any issues with it other then having to install a new battery. So when I had a chance to get another Acer I jumped on it.
Acer is known for budget friendly laptops, and this is just that with everything you get. It has a beautiful 16” OLED screen with colors that pop, and black levels are as good as it gets. Everything is so crisp.
The laptop itself looks amazing. I love the silver. And its pretty thin and light as well. Only 3lbs and .41” thin. Its so easy to carry around and fits in my bag easily. And it comes with a nice case as well!
Ports wise it has plenty. Multiple USB C, HDMI, Thunderbolt, and headphone as well. I love that I can easily connect it to my Sony 55” OLED as a huge monitor.
Of course its rocking Windows 11 and also has an awesome backlit keyboard. I didnt use to think that was necessary but once you get one you dont want one without it. The keys have excellent feel and feedback. I dont have to use an external keyboard to be able to type fast. Well fast for me that is.
The Intel Core Ultra 5 combined with 16GB of LPDDRX5 Ram makes for a snappy experience no matter what you are doing. Tabs for days, open documents, it doesnt matter. It just keeps performing as if you were just typing in Notepad.
The 512Gb SSD makes it boot up in seconds. I can and will never go back to any basic hard drives. And the one here in the Acer is great.
And its pretty much future proof rocking Wifi 7. I just need a router that can output that. But even connected to my Wifi 6 router everything loads up and plays immediately. Youtube videos, streaming music, etc, is blazing fast.
So heres to another 10 years for my new Acer laptop. I love it and couldnt recommend it more!!

Bose does it again. Amazing sound

Just for clarity these Ultra speakers were combined with the Lifestyle Subwoofer and soundbar. But this review will mostly just cover the Ultra Wireless speakers.
Unboxing and setup was as simple as it gets using Boses great app. Following it step by step got me up and running in no time. And since these are wireless it takes even less time since you dont have to run long wires.
Once set up and in the app you can do all your settings and tweaking the sound to your preference. Its so helpful to have an app that has things laid out in an easy to follow manner.
The speakers themselves look great and of course match the sub and soundbars look. All combined it looks great.
Once set up I tried just the Ultra speakers alone and was blown away at the sound quality. All I kept thinking was “Wow if these alone sound this good imagine the combo all together”. I am not a fan of base and speakers that rumble. I always prefer and more flat, tight, and accurate sound. And Bose nailed that here. Music, movies, and my gaming all sounds so good. And the combined system makes surround almost theater like.
I cant wait to have a get together to brag about these and demo them for friends. If you are like me and really love good quality sound look no further. Bose took care of the heavy work, now its up to you!

Bose earns its rep with this soundbar & then some

Just for clarity this soundbar was combined with the Lifestyle Ultra speakers and subwoofer But this review will mostly just cover the Bose Life Ultra soundbar.
Ive had quite a few soundbars in the past, and thought I had seen the best it was going to get with some other well known brands. But Bose has a reputation for excellent sound quality and they more then earn that here.
First off the bar itself is very well made and more then thin enough to fit under most TVs. In my case this is under a Sony OLED. Just for clarity this is combined with the Lifestyle Sub and Ultra speakers as a combo.
The app setup makes things so easy if you just follow step by step. Its very well thought out and makes what can be somewhat overwhelming to some a breeze.
But just the soundbar alone will more then do for most people. The sound is something hard to explain in words, but all I can say its its basically perfect. Highs and lows are so crisp and accurate.
The streaming is great as well. It all just works and works well. Doing all the adjustments and settings in the app works great. It also has Alexa but Im not part of that so I just use my music library from my phone when listening to music.
So if you are looking for amazing sound, features, and quality Bose is the way to go. Combined with the Lifestyle woofer and speakers its almost like your in a theater. Couldnt recommend more!

Just for clarity these Ultra speakers were combined with the Lifestyle Ultra speakers and soundbar. But this review will mostly just cover the Bose Life Ultra Subwoofer.
First thing I noticed with this subwoofer was the weight, its a tank at 33lbs. That doesnt always indicate quality, but when you have a super light sub dont expect much. So I was already pretty sure it was going to thump, and I was right.
There is no remote so all the setup and settings are controlled within the Bose app. And I am happy to say Bose knows hot to create a very user friendly app. All set up in minutes.
The subwoofer itself looks cool and matches the other components in the Lifestyle system. I love the matte black finish.
Before I tried the whole combo system I ran just the sub for awhile and it sounds amazing. I do not like overly boomy base that carries longer then it should. I live solid, tight, accurate bass, and Bose nailed that sound here. Movie explosions, bassy music, and gunshots in video games sound so good.

And once its combined with the full Lifestyle system I dont think Ive ever hear better surround and overall sound quality. Locating people in games, etc, is so easy here.
Overall I could not love this system more. Its the best Ive heard, and probably will be for years to come. Bose easily earns their reputation for top notch sound and I highly recommend this sub, but also the whole system.

Powerful yet light, super convenience. Love it

I love that this is basically and all in one vacuum. No needing to switch when swithcing from carpets to your kitchen, etc. And the fact that its cordless and lightweight means you can easily get in all those hard to reach spot like under furniture, etc.
In the box you get the cordless vacuum, auto charge dock, pet multi-tool, and crevice tool. The pet tool comes in very handy to get the hair shed from my cat.
I love that it has a self empty system when you hook it up to charge. Great design and it couldnt be easier to use.
Since using this I have rarely had to break out my large heavy duty vacuum. This really packs a lot of cleaning power into something so light and cordless at that. The convenience alone makes it worth it.
Another cool feature I hadnt even really thought about is that this has forward and reverse cleaning. So there is no wasted energy while pulling it back and forth. Cuts down on cleaning time a lot!
If you have pets, different floor types, and dont want to always have to lug around a heavy vacuum this is the way to go. I love it!

I purchased this laptop a few days ago and man do I love it. This computer has everything I was looking for in a laptop (expect for an SSD) however I felt I could live without it considering the price for this machine. I have never owned an Acer always HP, had it for 7 years and it was time for an upgrade. I do really like this laptop fast, beautiful design and enough ports not to mention the PRICE again you wont be disappointed.

When I started TV shopping I did a lot of research and at first bought the 55” KS8000. I liked that but when the KS9000 went on sale I exchanged it for that. One of the main reasons I went with the 9000 was the design (mainly the stand). On the 55” version of the 8000 the legs are about 44” apart. My stand that I have been using for years for several TV's is only 42” wide. So I had to use a large piece of wood on top of my stand just to be able to set up the 8000. This didnt really look all that great, and I didnt want to have to replace my stand with a wider one. And thankfully the 9000 has a more standard V shaped stand that fits and works great on my TV stand.
And the 9000 also has some improved specs and also looks better in my opinion. I didnt really like the glossy back of the 8000. Anyway I really love this TV. Ive had several Samsungs, and my last set was the JU7100. But decided it was time to upgrade. I dont really miss the lack of 3D because I think I literally only used it once on my 7100 to test it. And I do believe 3D is on its way to being extinct. Anyway the new thing now of course is HDR. And the KS9000 really takes advantage of that. It simply looks amazing. There are several Netflix shows that show what HDR is all about. And I also recently bought the new XBOX ONE S. Ive yet to buy an HDR Bluray, but I will soon. But as I mentioned there is plenty of HDR on Netflix and Amazon Video in the meantime.
One of the really cool new features this years Samsung TV's has its the new Tizen system. It is much more simple and streamlined this year. My favorite feature so far is how well the TV detects whatever device you are connecting and names it accordingly. I have a PS3, PS4, XBOX ONE, 360, and a PC laptop all connected to my TV. And it names them all without me having to do anything. The PS3 and PS4 are both automatically labeled as “Playstation”. And the XBOX One and 360 are both labeled by their full names each. I didnt have to type out names like I have before when customizing my input names. As you can tell I have a lot of things connected to my TV. And since it has 4 HDMI ports I use 2 HDMI 3 way splitters. They automatically switch to whatever source is powered on. So my system is set up like this:
HDMI 1 = Direct TV
HDMI 2 = PS3 and PS4
HDMI 3 = XBOX ONE S
HDMI 4 = PC, Wii U, and XBOX 360
HDMI 2 = PS3 and PS4
HDMI 3 = XBOX ONE S
HDMI 4 = PC, Wii U, and XBOX 360
The reason I am listing these all out is because I want to add how smart this TV is. It switches the settings, input name, and device type on HDMI 4 on its own depending on whichever one is powered on. And I have different settings for PC and the Wii U and 360. I use to have to manually switch the input type every time I went from one to the other. But when I power off a device it automatically switches all the settings and input types on its own.
Of course a review of a TV without talking about picture quality isnt complete so here we go. Simply put its amazing. The colors and picture are awesome. It also has very good motion handling, especially if you set Auto Motion plus to Auto. But this gives you the dreaded SOE (Soap Opera Effect). Which I really dont care for. So I use a custom setting for Auto Motion (Blur 3, Judder 3, and LED Clear Off). This gives it very good motion handling with very little SOE.
As you read above I am a gamer. And one of the main things I look for when TV shopping is the input lag (or lack thereof). And this is one of the best TV's released this year for low input lag. In Game mode the lag is only 20.5 ms. This is great, I dont notice any lag at all. I was also thinking of getting the Sony X930D but decided not to for a few reasons, one of those is that it has about 54ms of lag. This isnt terrible, but would be noticeable in my opinion.
The other main reason I went with the Samsung over the Sony is that I am still not sold on the Android Smart platform. I tested it on a 2015 Sony and it was just too buggy. I have read it is better this year, but in my opinion the new Tizen is much better.
Another thing I look for in TV's is a good USB media player for videos on hard drives. And Im happy to say that the Samsung recognizes and plays every single file type I have tested. It also has SRT subtitle support.
So overall I am very happy with this TV. It is by far the nicest set I have ever owned and I look forward to years of use with it. If you are looking for a new HDR 4K TV this should be on the top of your list. If you want a cheaper alternative go with the KS8000. Just be aware on the 55” version of the 44” wide legs. On the larger versions the 8000 has optional closer leg mounts, but for some reason Samsung did not do this on the 55” version. Anyway thanks for reading. The one issue I am having is that the source list and its icons go blank every couple days, sometimes more. This is a known issue and apparently Samsung is looking into it. As a work around you can hold down the power button on the remote to force it to reboot. This brings the source list back, but its still an issue. Its only the upper source list, the lower one doesnt go away. If you own the set you'll know what I mean by the upper one. Thankfully this is an issue that can be fixed via firmware update, but as of 1131 (9-23-16) it still happens. If it gets fixed Ill try to update my review.

Battery question

I know these have better battery life than the previous gens but have you had them actually run out on you? I have 2 sets of Gen 2's now that I just swap out when one headset dies and then start charging it. I use my A50's for all my TV audio not just gaming so they run out after about 5 hours or so, so Im hoping that the Gen 3's will always have enough battery to get through the day as long as I set them back on the charger when not using them. Thanks

I have owned A40s and currently own a pair of last gen A50s. The new A50s make a lot of great improvements over last gen. No chat cable is great and the docking station acts as an external sound card for the PC and does not require an optical cable for full 7.1 which is awesome. Audio quality seems to be better that the old A50s. I would occasionally get some low buzzing noise in the old model but the new ones are crisp and have no such issues so far. Battery life is significantly improved and the auto shut off is a welcome addition(the headset senses that it has been put down and shuts off after 15 seconds. Once it senses it have been moved it turns right back on. Usually the audio is already coming in by the time I put it on my head). Build quality is super solid. Expensive but they sound great and are a quality product. I am not wild about the color scheme but I can deal with it.

Looking to replace comcast modem want to buy a compatible modem
I also had to replace my comcast modem and have tried 2 different brands since then. This first one I got was a Zoom, and then later bought a Motorola. Ive had less issues with the Motorola. But Im not sure if they carry that same model. Its been a couple years. Depends on what you want to pay. I see the Motorola SB6121 is only 69.99 right now and has excellent reviews.

It depends on the phone, but they usually go into a folder on the internal memory sd card. Its called DCIM/ Camera.

NO, you dont need 2 modems. All you need is 1 modem, and a wireless router. Then set up the wireless on the router, then any device that has internet can connect to the router by searching for wireless and entering your password.
