best game of the series

i have played previous resident evil games and i havent enjoyed one since the outbreak series on ps2. i did not care for 4 at all and in general i havent been a big fan of here is 10 bullets and 1000000 zombies, have fun. gameplay of previous resident evil games.
this game takes the series in a new dirrection, with a "dont let any zombie survive" attitude and style. no more having to run away from zombies becuase there is plenty of ammo, plenty of guns, and even weapon upgrades and a ton of unlockables that include unlimited ammo for each weapon (gun type only, no infintie grenades) character/creature figures, new characters to play online vs modes, new modes of play, higher difficulties, alternate costumes among other things including (which i think is neat) you can unlock different items (character statues for chris, sheva, the other girl whose name i cant remember, bettles, treasure chest and i think 1 more)for your playstation home house (interactive virtual world online that is free from playstation on the xcross media bar (playstation home).). it is kinda dumb and pointless but it is neat to have that little extra feature as a reward for beating certain aspects of the game. the game is definatly my favorite game at this time and i have played xbox 360 (which was a peice of junk cuase i went through 4 of them), and am new to ps3 (with in 2 months) but already own about 15 new games and have played others. this is the best game i have played in a while.
the online co-op is what sets the game apart from being just another game, if it was just a single player game it would still be good and worth buying, but it would not be what it is right now in my book. the computer AI is not good enough to do the harder modes unless you want to be a full time babysitter and stay right next to them 99% of the time which is doable but a pain, also is it me or the higher the difficulty the less your partner does...on hard they wont even pick up gold anymore..almost as lazy as real people..although i dont know anyone that wouldnt pick up free money.
the online co-op makes up for that and replaces the lazy ai with a living, thinking being capable of common sence, for the most part anyways, which breathes new life in to harder difficulties and you have someone to communicate with on the headset which is better than playing alone, and you can work out strategies and help eachother find hidden BSAA emblems and other goods that one may otherwise miss alone.
i like the new dirrection, the game is far from hard when starting out, the controls take some getting used to but in the end i give it 100% and a must own for co-op, online capabilities and fun factor. by far the best game out there at this time for ps3 in my opinion.
What's great about it: co-op, ammo-a-plenty,
What's not so great: not a thing, though i hate the interactive movies..movie time is bathroom break time..not push a button time
I would recommend this to a friend!

i have been a fan of the sacred series since it came out, at the time sacred 1 was the next diablo game that blizzard, at the time, had no interest in becuase they were focusing on the starcraft and warcraft series. needless to say i was excited when i heard this was coming out and 2 people can play on one ps3 becuase my fiance and i had fun with games like champions of norrath 1 and 2 for ps2. all the hype about the game and rumors of gameplay made it seem that much more appealing. unfortunatly the rumors were wrong which i will cover now. there was a rumor that you could play 2 people on one console and 2 people online at the same time. this is not correct, 2 people on one console can not play online. also you can not trade items (or drop them, instead you destroy them) when playing 2 people on one console. you also need to have 2 profiles on the ps3 in order to play co-op on one system which is unnessesary. the instructions are not clear and the instructions also state that 2 player co-op one one system the characters can exchange items through the Hero chest, this is also not true at this time. also when my fiance and i played together and saved the game, it saved her character completely, but it did not save my characters items that i aquired, but it saved my character level. i got the game on the 12th of may, the release date becuase i had it on pre-order. so far i dont think many people have the game, it is already back ordered on bestbuy.com and bestbuy didnt have it releasing until 5-14-09. at this time there are no patches on the PS3 version that correct the problems, i have not played online multiplayer yet due to lack of people that have the game becuase it seems not many were shipped out at the time of origional release. if you have played sacred 1 for pc, you will also be let down becuase they took all but the seraphim characters, the new characters are not that great, i miss the battlemage big time. the new characters are mediocre, some of the abilities are cool, but i miss the big spells of the battlemage. the graphics on the game are good, and there are plenty of items to find and alot of quests to keep you busy. though the game is lacking on the single console multiplayer at this time the game is worth picking up due to PS3's lack of RPG games. if you are a fan of the diablo series it is worth looking into and if you have played sacred on the pc, the only let down may be the multiplayer experiance and the new characters. hopefully knowing ps3 there will be an update to correct the problems but it is all up to ascaron since they would need to put the patch out. this is their first console game i beleive, all in all a pretty good first shot.
What's great about it: its an rpg along the lines of diablo 2
What's not so great: multiplayer needs improvement
I would recommend this to a friend!

How do you set up windows media to your xbox 360 with windows xp software?

I am using an xbox 360 elite limited editon (resident evil 5 one), and i wanted to put media center on it.

How to I set it up with a wireless network?
To set up Windows Media Center:
If you use Windows XP, first go to www.xbox.com/pcsetup and click Setup to download the latest Windows Media Center software update to your PC running Windows Media Center.

Note
Windows Vista Home Premium Edition and Windows Vista Ultimate Edition come pre-installed with Windows Media Center.
Connect your Xbox 360 console to your PC using one of the connection types described in "Connect to Xbox LIVE."
On your Xbox 360 console, go to My Xbox and open Windows Media Center . Follow the on-screen instructions to finish Windows Media Center setup.

Along with standard DVD remote control functions, the Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote features a Windows Media Center button that lets you access a connected PC running Windows Media Center.

Xbox 360 can connect to an 802.11g or an 802.11a router with an optional wireless adapter such as the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter. Optimal performance is possible only when your Xbox 360 console connects to your network using the 802.11a standard. Other wireless devices, such as portable computers or desktop computers, connect with 802.11g.

Note
If you use wireless networking equipment that is not "Designed for Media Center Edition" (DfMCE) logo certified, you may experience poor wireless performance when you connect to PC running Windows XP and Windows Media Center.

To guarantee compatibility with current gear and to provide additional uninterrupted bandwidth for Xbox 360, replace an older 802.11g-only router with a newer, dual-band 802.11g and 802.11a router that is DfMCE certified.

Media Center Remote Control
The Xbox 360 console can be configured for use with your Media Center Remote Control. With this you can use familiar remote features to control the Windows Media Center features that are available with Xbox 360.

To use a Media Center remote control together with the Xbox 360:
Go to the My Xbox and select System Settings.
Select Console Settings.
Scroll down and select Remote Control.
Select Both Remotes.
Press Back (B) a few times to return to the Xbox Dashboard.

If the Xbox 360 console is turned off, press Start to turn it on and to start Media Center. When the system is on, you can press Start from any area of the Xbox Dashboard to jump straight to Media Center.

Note
The Media Center remote control cannot adjust the volume level for Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 Universal Remote is the best way to access the features of Media Center on the Xbox 360 system. You can control your Xbox 360 experience with an ergonomic design that includes backlit buttons, TV controls, and integrated Media Center controls.

ps3

2.0 usb flash drive. will it work on the ps3
most flash drives will work on ps3, some however you will have to format into either a ntfs or fat 32 drive (cant remember which) you can do this on your computer by plugging the device in, and going to the drive itself to view folders and click formatt ( on win xp it is on the left side bar as an option) it will however delete anything on the card. to get the ps3 to read items on it ,as an example a movie, you would go to movies on the media bar in ps3, highlight (do not push x to select the thumbdrive) the thumbdrive under movies and press triangle and select veiw all. other wise the ps3 will act like there is nothing on the drive.

i have this sprint USB thing and i dont know how to set it up to my PS3

i have it working on my laptop perfectly...just plug it in and go. but when i plug it in the ps3 it wont even show up.
the ps3 doesnt pick up some items in the usb ports (it wont detect a digital camera that i have from kodak) you may need to re-ask the question and state what the item is, what does it do. is it a phone (majic jack, vonage type device, wireless internet device (ps3 is wireless out of the box) is it a memory device of some kind) without know what the device is and does it is rather difficult to find a solution.

Is Sony going to have a price cut for ps3 like the rumors are saying

to be honest rumors of this nature have been going on for a while, i was told of a price cut in april that never happened. it is unclear at this time unless sony announces it themselves. i do know that sony takes a hit on every system they sale right now, meaning it costs more to make them than what they sale them for becuase of their own chipset they had made for the system. i woudlnt count on a price cut anytime soon, and if it happens with-in 30 days of your ps3 purchase i know most stores will honor the new price and will provide a refund. i woudlnt count on a price cut anytime soon unless sony becomes desperate to sell, especially since a descent blue ray player alone is running $300.00 by itself. i woudlnt count on a price cut due to that alone, if you are debating on buying one, i will tell you that overall it is worth the $400 price tag considering you dont have to buy accessories like you do with xbox 360 (wireless adapter is 99 dollars alone on 360 and ps3 is wireless right out of the box, and it comes with a rechargable controller which is another $20 on xbox and the online is free and xbox 360 is $60 a year plus you cant browse the internet like with ps3, considering all that ps3 is cheaper than xbox 360 in the long run already)

I am looking to buy an xbox for the first time and the elite seems like a pretty good deal. Is it worth $400 plus a year of live 2 games + controller

to be honest when you consider you have to buy the system, xbox live, a play and charge kit (unless you like batteries) a $99 wireless adapter you are actually paying more than you would for a more reliable ps3 which is ready to go out of the box. the only thing i purchased with my ps3 was a headset (any blue tooth headset that utilizes bluetooth 2.0 or later will work) and a controller for my fiance (and a seperate usb cable to charge it or you can get a charges that charges multiple controllers at the same time) you do get a chance to win a free game on xbox 360 called RED RING OF DEATH as well. the system reliability for xbox 360 is below standard. i myself have had a total of 4 360's, 3 of which have been since march of 2009. i woudl advise against xbox but that is just my opinion. do keep in mind im not a playstation fan boy, i just want a system that works and i got it and more with PS3
