I have purchased 3 of these players they only last about 13 - 14 months I thought the first one was fluke.
3 is enough for me changing brands

What's great about it: when the player is new it has a great picture
What's not so great: quits working 13 - 15 months this is the 3rd player same result
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
