Great buy for the price

Awesome product, very easy to use and easy to update. Garmin offers free traffic and one free update unlike the worthless Tom Tom's I have experienced.
What's great about it: Easy to use, free traffic
What's not so great: nothing

Best interier mounted radar detector available

So far out of all the reviews, anything negative said about this product sounds like ignorant user error. First off this is a RADAR detector, not a cop car detector. If they do not have their radar gun turned on, you will not get a warning, I don't know why this is hard for some people to understand. Also, if you read the manual, POP mode detection is turned off out of the box, so you will need to turn this on. X band will be set to on out of the box, I would recomend turning this off as it is not used anymore as long as you live in a city with running water. K band is still being used though not as common, you may want to research how common this may be in your area, because K band is used in many other devices that may cause some false alarms. If K is not used in your area I would recomend turning it off. I choose to deal with the rare false alarm to protect myself from the few K band radar guns that are used in my area. Anyone who has had the hassle of getting a ticket should be able to see the value in spending the money and getting a quality radar detector. If not waste your money on a cheap, cobra ticket detector with about 50 feet of range.
What's great about it: Very long range, accurate, easy to use
What's not so great: suction cups only lasted about 1 year
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why does car list for Honda missing 2001-2003?
Check with your nearest store for a more accurate estimate. Some Hondas between those years will require a special mounting kit for a radio install.

Looking for a Car stereo w/built in satelite that will also work with the steering wheel controls on a 2006 Chevy Cobalt
As far as what Best Buy carries, there is no radio with satelite radio built in. You can get a deck that is satalite radio ready, then purchase a satelite radio tuner and an adapter specific to the brand of radio you chose. You can also purchase a steering wheel control module that will work with most decks to retain you steering wheel controls.

Why wont most of these fit my car?
I have an 2006 Acura RSX why does the Fit guide tell me that only 2 of the many radios Best Buy has will fit my car? Oh and the 2 that do fit are over $500, which I cant afford.
It is not the most accurate fit guide. I would check with your closest store, but any radio should work with that car. You will just need to purchase a mounting bracket and wire harness.

What does WMA stand for and what is it's function in the car audio description?
Windows Media Audio- Just another format similar to MP3. Means that the radio will be able to read disks burnt in this format.

2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT with theft lock
I have a 2000 Pontaic Grand Am GT that have theft lock security on it. The cd player is currently not working and I would like to replace it with one from bestbuy. Can you tell me if this is possible and what stereo can I use? Also will it effect how my car security system?
Your security will ot be affected in any way. There is a door chime retention harness that is available for that car though since your door chimes run through your radio. Any single DIN radio will work with that vehicle.

Adding auxilary input
I have a Sirius radio that uses the FM transmit to go through my car radio (2007 GM factory stereo). The quality stinks. It has an auxilary jack (the sat radio); is there a way to modify my car radio to accept the input?
You can purchase a wired FM transmitter for 30.99. You may need antenna adapters and I would recommend having it installed. They will hardwire your power adapter as well.

Stereo, Speakers and Accessories
I have a 1984 Corvette. I would like to know what speakers I need to accompany the Stereo I have picked. Kenwood KDC-MP342U stereo. The Stereo to Fit the car program does not list what I need in Speakers.

Whree can I find?
Where can I find a radio to install in my car that stores all songs played from a cd? I saw a commercial the other day of a brand new car that had this capability.
