In this cd, Yanni teams up with four young vocalists -- think of voices as pure as Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban or Sarah Brightman -- and I think the result will usher in a whole new crop of Yanni fans. I especially love Nathan Pacheco's songs (Omaggio is my favorite); these songs are the perfect way for today's kids to ease into classical music. I'm less enthusiastic about the English songs for some reason, they seem too bland for me, but the italian and latin songs are wonderful to listen to. Interspersed with the vocals is Yanni's distinctive instrumental sound, so diehard Yanni fans will also find something to like. Overall, a good cd to have.
What's great about it: Nathan Pacheco's songs are wonderful!
What's not so great: I didn't care for the songs in English

Honestly, I wasn't sure I'd like BHB's debut album, but after listening to all the songs I'm convinced there's something for everybody. The younger audience will like the pop beat and synthesized vocals, and the older crowd will like the soulful ballads. I love the vocals and harmony on "Longing For! and the guitar instrumentals on "Closer" and "Underwater"!
What's great about it: Slow ballads
What's not so great: Synthesized, boy-band pop songs
