This cd has a few songs that I personally like. 'Bull Rider', 'Loretta', and 'Creepin' In' are all great songs if you enjoy older country. I'm a fan of her duets, but when she sings in general on a few of these songs, it's lacking individuality. They all start to mash together and it sounds too familiar. I also really liked that she changed it up and recorded songs with a few hip hop artists. 'Take off your Cool' and 'Life is Better' are both surprisingly good. Her voice sounds more soulful backing the hip hop tracks. There are some songs on here I thought I would like considering I'm a fan of the artist, but they fell short for me.

This album is very quirky. He has a very classic voice and makes it current by singing these pop songs. It's pretty good. If you like Frank Sinatra or Maroon 5 you'll like this.
What's great about it: Makes older songs more current

My favorite song on this album is Close To You. The rest of the songs I think sound better when they're sang by the originals. The only thing to describe this album is soothing. If you're into Frank Sinatra you should check this album out. It is good, but after awhile it sounds as if the songs are all the same since his voice doesn't seem to change from song to song.
What's great about it: Great if you like Frank Sinatra.
What's not so great: Songs start to sound the same after awhile.

This album reminds me of something you would hear shopping at Macy's. Which could be a bad thing or a good thing. It's upbeat, catchy, and by the name of the album, you can guess what the record is mostly about. There are parts I thought her singing could be better. And a few songs reminded me of other songs from the 80's.
What's great about it: great for people who like norah jones, etc.
What's not so great: singing isn't so great a few times

The music and the singers go very well together. I've never listened to any of Yanni's music before, but with the singers he chose to sing on this album it seems he's trying to pull in a younger crowd. And it works because I really liked a few of the songs! The two women who sing on this album are very talented. I liked song #5 Before the Night Ends, #11 Set Me Free, and #16 Nei Tuoi Occhi (In The Mirror).
What's great about it: The women singers are amazing.
