Portable Phone Power In Your Pocket

I found this little guy in the clearance bin at Best Buy and was pleased at how it offered a quick refill for my Galaxy S3. I take my phone camping with the Boy Scouts (Troop 65 represent!) and need to be sure I have a charge so I can call in case of an emergency...not to mention post lights out Angry Birds and Game Dev Story. This sucker is about as tall as two AA Batteries tall and a bit thicker than my thumb so it's pretty small and for the price (single digits) I was able to bring two or three in my bag and just carry one with me in my pocket each day we went camping. You can use your phone or device while it's charging but if you're out and about it's a big awkward as the USB cable that feeds from the power pack to the device is only a couple inches long although you could bring a longer cord and then just keep it in your pocket while you have your phone in your hand, that worked for me.
Not sure how much juice it will give a tablet but it took my battery on my Galaxy S3 from eight percent to 90 percent before it seemed to give out.

Best In-Ear Earbuds Around

I only ever use in ear earbuds and I have found that carrying them wrapped around my music player in my pocket to and from work or even at work sometimes (I work in a cleanroom so nothing to bang into) one side or the other will stop working after a few months. I don't know anyone else who uses earbuds so it could just be me but the point is that these buds offer amazing sound, comfortable fit, and lots of color choices without breaking the bank. I can't label the price in my review but they're in the single digit range. You can use them for 4-6 months and get your money worth so you don't feel ripped off when you need to replace them (which you may not, like I said maybe I'm hard on them somehow that I don't realize).
BE AWARE: I don't know that these are still made so iif you see them grab em. I've only seen the Gummy+ buds at other retailers and those are not as comfortable as they have a weird angle to them.

Solid Laser Printer with lots of Bells/Whistles

These days printers are cheaper to replace than to refill which led me to looking into a new all-in-one printer/scanner. This was a good purchase not only because it's a laser printer (black and white only, so nothing fancy) but also because the scanning quality is really great. It's supposed to connect to your wireless network and I gave it a try but was not successful, I suspect due to user error and short patience but be aware it's not a simple plug and play type deal, you'll need to work on it and trial-error until it works which it may not. Good purchase though, if you need a laser printer and scanner then you could do a far sight worse than this little baby!

Guess who's back, shady's back tell a friend

Seeing as the original "Marshall Mathers LP" is my favorite album this one had a lot of pressure to succeed going in. Thankfully it meets or exceeds expectations on almost every front. While nothing can get Eminem back to the furious anger that makes the original album so great this new one showcases how much he's grown and matured as a rapper. Instead of dissing pop stars, his mom, or his ex Kim we find he's rapping about his own personal journey and less about the world around him. He samples from a lot of songs, most effectively in "Rhyme or Reason" using the old "Time of Season". The lyrics have never been sharper either, made evident by the recent showcase of 100 words in 15 seconds portion of "Rap God" which just bewilders with is perfection. The music may be too good in fact as it feels pretty short at about 75 minutes, although looking back that's average for him. Some of the best songs on previous albums have been tracks where he teams up with Dre, Snoop, or his crew D12 however all of them are missing from his album and it leaves a hole in this reviewer's satisfaction. Also, by spending the extra money to get a deluxe version you get five bonus tracks however they are placed on their own CD, and how often will you ever really switch out a full disc for a short five song disc? Maybe it's OK if you rip them so they run back to back with the real album.
Overall this is a worthy addition to the Eminem discography and you won't regret buying it. I just hope he doesn't wait another 3-4 years to make another album.
