For the money you cannot buy a better tv. The picture quality is amazing. It looks as good as tv's that are more that twice the price. And if you have a 5.1 system which everybody should have anyways, the sound won't even matter. One of the best things I have ever bought.
What's great about it: easy to set up. great picture
What's not so great: nothing its perfect
I would recommend this to a friend!

my friend bought a 42" plasma tv model dynex with a 4 year warranty included for 800.00 was that a good deal?

yes. they wanted $200 for just a 2 year warranty alone on my tv dynex is a off brand but its still not bad
