When this CD first came out, I did not like it. I only liked a few radio tracks. Now that it's been out for some time, and mainstream music has turned to mush, I appreciate this album so much more! Kid Cudi has a unique style which is told throughout this album, both through music, and through the narrator (Common).
The guest stars are very limited allowing Kid Cudi to shine on his debut album. What's even better about this album is that there are 3 hidden tracks on the album. Anyone who heard his mixtape will instantly recognize the tracks.
This is a great album that has only gotten better with time. Now that some time has passed, I think this album will definitely be remembered fondly. If you haven't bought this album yet, do yourself a favor and do so! You won't be disappointed.
What's great about it: Unique style
What's not so great: May not be for everyone
I would recommend this to a friend!
