I'm going to preface this review by saying that I've only used 1 disc so far, and it was an orange one. The orange discs are very similar in color to the red ones, so at first I thought there was one less color than there actually was in the spindle. I like that there is variety there so your discs can look different from each other. I was pleasantly surprised with how nicely the Lightscribe image came out, since I had never seen one before. I'm not sure if the discs have anything to do with the quality of the image produced.
As far as how many 'coasters' came in my spindle, well, I don't know yet since I've only burned one. I'm going to venture a guess and say that there won't be any more or any less than what you'd usually get in a spindle. My first disc came out great, and I'm looking forward to trying the other colors and seeing how my Lightscribe designs come out.
My only complaint about these discs is that they're more expensive than regular CDs, but that's not really a complaint because I realize that they probably should be more expensive given that they're specially made. If you enjoy graphic designs, have a Lightscribe drive, and want to burn some fun CDs for yourself, then grab a pack of these and have a blast!
What's great about it: multi-colored, reasonably priced, nothing wrong with them
What's not so great: more expensive than regular CDs
