Split/Second is a game that at times will have you stunned by the amazing course changers. Planes crashing on the track, Nuclear cooling towers exploding, helicopters bombarding you with missiles, the list goes on and on. However why is it that despite the large amount of so called tracks I am stuck playing in the same 4 or 5 enviorments. It is truly a game that at times will take your breath away. Despite extremely simple graphics, the speed and pace of the game combined with the subtle epic visuals will keep you on your toes. Its fun and has enough material to keep Burnout and Kart racing fans alike occupied for hours. Unfortunatly without a map pack, and more customization in the vehicles, it does lack variety. Now as for the difficulty, you can be losing constantly because you fell behind early, but because of the simple Kart racer style AI you will never be more than 5-8 seconds ahead of the competition even at your best. Otherwise with multiple game modes and semi decent multiplayer the game does make up for a lot of it. It is a fun game to play but because of the poor online design you will find yourself lagging frequently in games, and while it doesnt make a huge difference in most game modes, it will crush your chances of winning in survival. Despite all this bad Split/Second has an amazing feature that many games fail to capture in the modern market, something that keeps you coming back. Primarily its the adreniline the feeling that at any moment someone behind you could have a helicopter come swooping in trying to take you out with a dump truck tied below it. A fun game to play with hours of potential gameplay, I would reccomend it only to those who are fans of games like burnout, or mariokart, otherwise its not a bad rental to see some amazing visuals also.
What's great about it: Amazing visuals, good racing control, Innovative game modes
What's not so great: Lacks variety of maps, Difficulty levels, bland customization
In the world of espionage, nothing is as it seems in Obsidian Entertainment's blockbuster RPG thriller, Alpha Protocol. Players will assume the role of Michael Thorton, a highly skilled government operative trained to eliminate threats to national security. When a mission goes horribly wrong, Thorton is the only one with the information, skills, and contacts required to stop an impending international catastrophe. To do so, he will utilize the very government directive that the enemy sought to use to against him - Alpha Protocol.

Alpha Protocol carries one of the better dialouge systems i have seen in any game to date, that being said, its not all good in the world of a secret military organization. The story is somewhat bland, but if you enjoy any style of espionage it will probably entice you almost immediatly. For me not being a huge fan of espionage what held me through the game was how my choices honestly effected the world and ultimatly my ending. The graphics are about as good as an original xbox game pushing its limits, but the gameplay helps make up for that. Performing melee attacks can be somewhat frustrating as the AI are poorly designed. Being absolutly stupid on easier difficulties, and smarter than any normal human on hard. Otherwise the shooting controls are good, the RPG esqe character customization is solid, and the gun customization is well above average for what would normally be excpected of an RPG. Overall Fun to play great first time through, but unless your hunting achievments not a huge reason to play through it more than once.
What's great about it: Excellent dialouge system, great customization, choices impact throughout game

The game itself is amazingly put together. With great graphics and a smooth easy flowing combat system whats not to like. However 2 hours in to the game I realized that honestly im doing the same thing over and over. Go eavesdrop, pickpocket, and then assasinate the cycle continues to repeat. While this cycle gets repetitive and slightly boring, the amazing visuals and landscapes will hold you through to the end of the game. Great for first timers, if you've beaten it once not worth it a second time unless you really have nothing to do.
What's great about it: Awesome visuals, amazing combat moves and flowing combat system in general
What's not so great: Not enough mission variety, and lacking some challenge unless you go achievment hunting

Excellent Music, The German Blind Guardian Band hired to record tracks for this game definatly did an amazing job. There is a nice amount of difficulties that provide different amounts of challenge based on the level of your character and your overall gaming expierience. The world is huge with an amazingly large amount of sidequests, not to mention the level cap of 200 can keep you playing until your old. The graphics are about average, excelling around the enviorments but faultering more toward the characters. The voice acting is just ok, and some of the cheesy comedy reduces the overall game expierience. Only 6 classes leaves me wanting more but rumors of an expansion have been noted. Multiplayer is well put together on the console with only a few minor glitches with connection. Bottom line is if you have someone to play it with, it is a definant buy, if not unfortunatly I cant recommend any other game here. While Sacred 2 may be lacking in certain areas it is the only game of its kind on the Xbox 360, so if your interested in games of this type go for it.
What's great about it: Good Music, Varying difficulties, Massive World, Endless possobilities
What's not so great: Voice acting, cheesy comedy, Only 6 classes, not as enticing single player
