this game comes out every year and it is the same old lame stuff. it is extremely hard to unlock everything that you want,it is impossible to do it. the roster is awful. they keep needing to have more and better legends on it and they at that every year. not a good game at all!
What's great about it: graphics, and thats it.
What's not so great: dificulty unlocking everything, lame roster

this game is missing a lot of wrestlers. there's no randy savage, ricky steamboat, demolition, marty jannety, the fabulous rougeau brothers, miss elizabeth, manager slick and scary sherri, tito santana, rick martel and dynamite kid. Those wrestlers shouldve made the cut in addition to the current roster. but noooooo! this NEEDS to have a sequel and NEEDS to have these missing superstars to the roster they already have or else we'll have yet another dud of a so called game.
What's great about it: graphics, and thats it.
What's not so great: lack of main wrestlers, price

i like how you can listen to live espn radio while you set up your game. you can watch sportscenter top ten on the virtual tv inside the gym as you set up your game. this is the best live game that ive played since the sega genesis system. i did have the live game with vince carter on it and that game was alright, but it was the nba 2k versions that have dominated the show in recent years. still again no legends like bird, isiah, barkley on the game to play with.
What's great about it: live espn radio while you play, espn sportscenter
What's not so great: some minor controls and modes are difficult

you really need to play the other halo's in order to even remotely understand this game. but you shouldnt have to play all those games to form your own opinion after playing this terrible game. first the online game itself. your going against top notch players who already know how to play. its not that fun to play online and it is overrated. the story itself is very weird. i got into to at first but at the end it was terrible.
What's great about it: graphics, sound, interraction
What's not so great: online multiplayer is hard, weird game

this game is what i waited for for a long time. i was lil dissapointed. the final round of the game they don't reveal the answers to the survey once you complete the game. the real show host is NOT on the game. can't create the type of character you want, its very limited.
What's great about it: handheld portable fun, real tv game at your fingertips
What's not so great: graphics, limited custimization, not the real game show host

gta 4 is a great game but they missed out on a lot of things the previous games had. theres no mall which i enjoyed, flying and riding in airplanes, no multiple cities to visit and no dancing in clubs. sure watching tv and riding in a taxi are fun. dating and going bowling and playing pool and watching theatre comedy are great.
What's great about it: Graphics and the non stop action

i love to talk to the headset and hear my voice on the tv! that is so cool but when i play the game all im doing is shooting or pointing out where i want my troops to attack. theres alot of stuff going on and it makes you feel like youre experiencing real war. but theres no real action to it. no real suspense.
It's game seven, tie game and there are only eight seconds remaining on the clock. Your teammate inbounds the ball to you, and you start to dribble up the floor crossing midcourt. Quickly you cross over and head to the left as the center sets a hard pick ~ knocking your defender off his feet. Seven seconds to go. You pass to the wing and cut to the right. Seconds continue to tick away as the forward comes up to set a screen. Your defender recovers and rushes up to cover you just as you receive the ball at the top of the three-point arc. You pump fake ~ he doesn't budge. You decide to put the ball on the deck and dribble to the right ~ three seconds to go. You stop and cross over to your left, causing the defender to lose his balance. You rise into the air and release the ball. Two seconds ~ flashbulbs pop and the crowd holds its collective breath. One second ~ the ball approaches the hoop, will there be overtime or glory? NBA 2K11 builds on the momentum of NBA 2K10 by improving every aspect of the series. bad game overall
March 28, 2011
i bought this game so i can play with the retro teams and enjoy the current updates on all the teams. what i hate about this game is that they don't have full rosters on the all of the retro teams. i mean look at the bad boys from 1990, they are on the game. there is NO john salley, vinnie johnson, mark aguirre or even chuck daly! its just the starting five that played that season. that suxx!!! also NOT on the game are charles barkley's philly, phoenix 93 or even his houston team. the freakin 2 time nba champion houston rockets arent even on there!!
this game is too much into jordan. jordans retro teams are mostly full on their rosters. so of course it'll be easy to destroy a five player detroit and new york team on there. i also don't like that its difficult to set up the game to play with players who are currently injured. i wanted to play with the pistons and use jonas jerebko but i couldn't cause for the longest time. he has been injured all year. i want the game to make it easier for me to use the full roster even if players are out for the season. i want that choice!!
the graphics are good and commentery is good but they goofed up with the roster ploblems.

nba 2k12 it kept skipping and stopping
June 29, 2013
this game is good except for a couple of big things. during regular game play the game would skip and lag, stop and go for periods of time. 2nd, the game would pause when i would load a saved game or settings forcing me to turn the power off and on again just to continue. then at the end of a game during the playoffs the game would stop and pause forcing me to power off the console and turn it back on again but i could not finish what i started. i exchanged the game at first. both disc are fine. my system is fine too. i think its just the game itself it wont let me play the game without some sort of problem. my other games do not give me any problems whatsoever!!!

Another 2k game in the basketball series
ByPhrobiasfromMichigan
I am leaving this review based upon 2k's past creations in this genre and to help give someone an idea what to expect. Also, to leave more than the "great game" and "incredible" five star ratings standard on this site. As a basketball enthusiast I have played a lot of 2k games as well as the nba live series. Nba2k14 and 15 were very similar and fun. NBA2k16 is a broken game and has ruined the franchise. The shooting mechanic is completely, utterly, and hopelessly broken in NBA2k16. You can have 99 statistic ratings, be completely wide open, and have perfect shot release only to miss most of your shots. RENT this game to see if they have fixed the shooting mechanic before wasting your money on a broken game like the 16 version.

I totally agree with you. I'm glad I got 2k16 free plus it was free with ps plus on ps4. I hate the controls overall but the shooting mechanics are very frustrating to say the least.
