"What is the perfect crime? I don’t know if killing men sent from the future, and therefore unidentifiable, qualifies, but it’s certainly close. Of course, if you should screw up somehow, those same people would know immediately. What then? It’s 2044, and while time travel has yet to be invented, those in the future use it to their advantage by sending individuals who threaten their business interests back to that time where they can be eliminated by men awaiting their arrival. The men who execute these unfortunate individuals are known as Loopers. Joe Simmons (played by Joseph Gordon-Leavitt) is one such man. Simmons (Gordon-Leavitt) is in the employ of a mafia boss in Kansas City who he calls Abe (played by Jeff Daniels). Abe (Daniels) was sent back in time to manage the organization’s hired guns as well as their other illicit operations as only someone from the future is uniquely equipped to do. When Loopers have outlived their usefulness, they are sent back to be executed their younger self who receive payment in the form of gold rather than the customary silver. This is referred to as “closing your loop”. In his spare time, Joe abuses drugs, maintains an intimate relationship with a showgirl named Suzie (played by Piper Perabo), frequents a club owned by his employer and is studying French to prepare for his eventual retirement in France. Things start going awry when Seth (Joe’s friend and a fellow Looper played by Paul Dano) is confronted with the task of closing his loop and fails. His superiors are more than a little displeased by this and so Seth goes to Joe, hoping his friend will hide him. Eventually, Seth is found, maimed, and his now disfigured older self is executed. This is after Seth and Joe both learn that a crime boss known only as The Rainmaker is behind the recent rash of closing loops. As Joe resumes his usual routine, he too is given the task of closing his loop when his older self (portrayed by Bruce Willis) appears before him. Joe’s younger self cuts a message into his arm so that he can discuss the situation with his older self. Old Joe (Willis) confirms that The Rainmaker exists and is closing loops, in addition to killing the woman Joe would eventually marry. Both Joes are attacked by men working for their employer and flee, neither intending to do anything other than the task they set out to. Old Joe’s being to kill The Rainmaker’s younger self, young Joe’s being to close his loop.
(THIS BLANK SPACE WAS PUT HERE FOR A REASON. DON'T ASK!)
Obviously, this is a very complicated story. It’s made even more so by characters I haven’t mentioned yet. One of them played by the always talented Emily Blunt, the other by child actor and relative newcomer Pierce Gagnon. That said, I found it surprisingly good and highly entertaining. The complicated and paradoxical nature of sending someone back in time to be executed by their younger self as well as other questions about time travel are complicated and that is dealt with by a rather humorous line and then never brought up again. Thankfully. The story is gripping, the performances top-notch, and the conclusion leaves the audience wanting more and wondering what’s next. This is a great film." I've Edited and Spell Checked this in MS-Word 2010! Ha! Ha!
What's great about it: Bruce Willis with No Hair!
What's not so great: The other Cast Members and the Long Review by someone else!

The Number 1 Series on ABC during the 1970's-80's

"I saw this series as much as I could when I was a mere Teenager. I basically grew Up with Charlie's Angles. So I plan to Order this and pray it arrives just by the 24th of December 2012 so I can open it the next day on Christmas. I cannot rely on my Sisters to give me this as they have Zero Taste when it comes to Gift Giving on Christmas Mornings. As in the past they were fine but in my Adult Years they all failed. Other than that, I will be anticipating the Arrival for the 27 DVD Set because I needed the Season 4 and 5 but someone other than me got there first and got it before I could. So now it is my turn to change it all over again. I am in the first and I will be buying this DVD Set before anyone knows it is for sale at BB!"
What's great about it: Every Single Thing. It's the Ladies of Primetime!

One of the Best James Bond Themes of all Times!
on December 1, 2012

I won';t give away the Ending Finale to the Film. However once I heard the Song on the Internet and comparing it to the main Title Theme of the James Bond Film, I say this was one of the Best so far for the james Bond Series. I don't kn ow this person who sang it but I saw the FIlm and need to see it again asn this time arpound I intend to bring with myself a Tissue or four! That said, The Finale was a tear jerker and I was in Shock until the Finale End and all the uestions to the haracters and when they would appear had been Answered to me and now I wait for another Two years until the Next Daniel Craig Series of James Bond to Follow many more to come I hope? Anyway the fact that this ilm with the Grand Old Soundtrack Them to the Main Title even though it did not begin the way I figured and it took a long time for him to end up underwater, I say it was the Best Tehm ever Written and Perfomed by this Artist Adele! Many thanks for the Two Hours and Twenty Three Minutes Length to the Film and all I need is to first wait for the Purchasing of the Soundtrack and CD Single at BB which I intend to also Purchase the Combo Pack in january of 2013. So the SKYFALL Combo will be arriving like the last one in january and right after I Purchase Dallas the 2012 although Sad First Season which left Poor larry Hagman Dying on us! Will there be another Season of Dallas in 2013 after the bring the Second Season back? Will there be a Dallas; The omplete tird Season after the Second Season Finale? I hope he does not end up dead in the Series. Anyways the jB Series has ended for me and I intend to Purchase the 50th Anniversary someday. Target Sells it for $189.99 while BB sells it for $149.99 and there is not one copy available!
What's great about it: Everything!

In 2012, the TNT cable network formally brought back the blockbuster prime-time soap Dallas, 21 years after it ended its original run. Episodes returned to Southfork Ranch, and reintroduced several of the original cast members, including Patrick Duffy as Bobby Ewing, the late Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing, and Linda Gray as Sue Ellen Ewing; the reboot also brought in new characters as the "next generation" of Dallas heavyweights. These included Bobby's adopted son Christopher Ewing (Jesse Metcalfe), J.R. and Sue Ellen's son John Ross Ewing III (Josh Henderson) , Christopher and John Ross's childhood friend Elena Ramos (Jordana Brewster) and Christopher's bride Rebecca Sutter (Julie Gonzalo). In no time at all, intrigue and double-crosses began to materialize on the ranch, involving Christopher's plans for alternative energy drilling, Christopher and John Ross's rivalry for Elena's attentions, possible hidden motives harbored by Rebecca, and much more. That season contained 10 installments and debuted on June 13, 2012; all of the episodes appear in full in this box set, as they originally aired.

A Farewell to J.R. Ewing and a Grand Old Series!
on November 25, 2012

from Honolulu, HI
It was Saturday November 24th, 2012 when I heard the Tragic News about Mr. Larry Hagman who played J.R. Ewing on the 14 and Plus Seasons of Dallas! I was so upset I could not eat my Dinner until today when I finally gave in and ate. He died Peacefully and Painlessly but to this Date he was my hero with: "The Man you Love to Hate" Slogan and the First Season of the New Dallas Series was a grand old Season but I had a feeling he may not make it past the 2nd Season and here we are he has gone forever but never forgotten forever. Especially By me. I have all 14 Seasons of the Original Dallas Series minus the Movies DVD and now I will buy this which is going to be a keep Sake for me anyways. J.R. Ewing? “You'll be missed by your Biggest Fan of all me!” “I hope you will be in Peace now that you have gone through the Pearly Gates of Heaven!” Besides this information I am writing here, I wanted to say the Series in this New Version was a wonderful Exciting Episodes of what you might say “The Edge of Your Seat” Drama as I waited each and every Week to see the next Episode and mostly predicted the ending to Season 1. Will there be another Season left after his Death? We’ll have to wait I guess and find out what the Network has to offer.
What's great about it: Everything!
What's not so great: Larry Hagman's Sudden Real Death! He will be Missed by me!

One Word Describes the Hit SIngle Theme Song: "Excellent!" I'll bet the Film is as Great as the Song is as I saw the Video Song Version of it and I think JB is going to be SHot and he falls into a spot where there is Water. That's when the Theme Song Begins! "SKYFALL!" Hence the title.

This collection features three feature-length films inspired by the hit television series Dallas. Starring Larry Hagman as suave oilman J.R. Ewing, The Early Years is a prequel to Dallas, while J.R. Returns and War of the Ewings follow Ewing's devious attempts to make himself even more powerful. Also includes Dallas Reunion: Return to Southfork.

"THE BEST DALLAS SERIES FOR THE TV MOVIE VERSIONS"
on September 18, 2012

from Honolulu, HI
I watched the Episodes in this Particular DVD from the original Film Stock at the LA Studio where I met with larry Hagman and his entire Family. We talked and I told him I didn't watch the show until one time I saw an Episode and from that point J.R. got me hooked like a Drug Addict on Cigs! Anyway I went on a Tour of the Dallas Lot and then the entire Family flew me with their Private jet to Dallas and Southfork Ranch to check out the place for myself. I too have written a TV Screenplay except that is not for TV more like Adult Cinema of 21 Years old. In Closing, I loved it when Victoria Principal was kiled off because Frankly she stunk through the entire series and I loved it when they replaced her with that Blonde then she was shockingly killed off the lover to Bobby Ewing. The Early Years was fine and so were the two Mini Series two years apart I do believe. I like Dallas and in fact watched every single Newwer Version 2012 Dallas Series this year without missing a scene and they showed it twice so if I missed a scene then I would watch it again and it was on TNT! So in January of 2013, I will be eagerly waiting for more of the backstabbing of the cast. I am waiting for the Series to be on DVD and soon will buy them as well as this Video on DVD. Dallas is now one of my favorite shows next to Falcon Crest, Dynasty and Knots Landing. Flaming Road got taken off the Air and so did Dynasty II: The Colbys after two seasons. So for now, Dallas is my Favorite and in jan 2013 I will watch it on the road online on a Private Jet whjen I fly to China. Don't ask me how my arms will feel after the flight either.

What's not so great: NOT A DARN THING!

Mystic Falls becomes the backdrop for an epic battle between vampire, witch, and human in the third season of the CW's hit series The Vampire Diaries. As Elena and Damon struggle to help Stefan after he succumbs to Klaus, they experience feelings of both guilt and desire as their own bond continues to grow. Meanwhile, Mikael and Esther (the first vampire hunter and witch, respectively) come back from the dead in hopes of ending a 1,000 year power struggle.

CORRECTED TITLE: "THE VAMPIRE DIARIES"
on September 13, 2012
Posted by: Fred2009
from TAMPA, FL
First of all, I have both the First and Second Seasons of "The Vampire Diaries" (Not "Vampire Diaries" in my many Thousands of DVD and BR collection.
Second of all, the title on the Web Site on BB.com=Bestbuy.com, is Miss Leading because it is "The Vampire Diaries" and not: "Vampire Diaries!" Fix it you Geek People!
Thirdly, I cannot say anything bad about: "THE VAMPIRE DIARIES" because I have seen the first two Seasons and still am watching as this evening I watched the Third Season still some Weeks running on the CW and love the show with a Shocking Cliffhanging End each Season. Each Season the Season Finale is more shocking than the last season before the new one ends. So I will watch the 4th Season in October when it airs. I turn 52 on October 5th, 2012 so a week later on the CW The Vampire Diaries" Will begin the 4th Season!
In closing, I like to say I hope the Webmaster fixes this Typo and does it ASAP because although it is annoying a lot to see Miss Spelled with the wrong Title? I like to shop Online and soon will get the IPAD TOUCH 5!
What's great about it: EVERYTHING!
What's not so great: THE WRONG TITLE FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE DVD COMBO

This was the Best Review that I've found on BB.Com
January 5, 2013
No One individual can come close to this person who made a Dedication to larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing. I wanted to say this guy is a Wonderful Man so please don't Flame him as he and I miss J.R. since the Second Season is around the Corner, I have to miss each and every Episode because TNT Decided to move it to Monday Nights making it hard for me to miss HPD=Hawaii Five-0! I rather watch CBC then TNT when TNT ruined the Dallas Showing by making it on the same night as the HPD Night.

Debuting in the fall of 1991, the police drama Silk Stalkings marked something of an unusual first for television: a program jointly produced by one of the big three (CBS) and a cable network (USA). For its first two seasons (1991-3) it ran concurrently on both stations. CBS positioned it in a temporary line-up that it had devised called 'Crimetime after Primetime.' Like its five sister dramas in that bracket (Forever Knight, Scene of the Crime, Tropical Heat, Fly by Night and {#Dark Justice)), Stalkings gained notoriety - and racked up a considerable audience - for its unusually high quotients of violence and sex, all wrapped up in very slick, chic packaging. Set in the posh world of Palm Beach, Florida, episodes followed two detectives, Sgt. Chris Lorenzo (Rob Estes) and Sgt. Rita Lee "Sam" Lance (Mitzi Kapture), as they delved into crimes of passion among the area's elite; Ben Vereen co-starred as Captain Hutchinson, their gruff supervisor. This set contains the entire 20-episode First Season of Stalkings, with such memorable installments as "Blo-Dri," "Going to Babylon," "S.O.B." and "The Brotherhood."
