What is the purpose of having a voice recorder that you can't backup to a computer? Or upload recorded messages to a computer?
Buy a cheap tape recorder, you'll get the same thing.
Sony's technical assistance is horrible, they cannot even answer my questions. If you need your files on a computer, avoid this model.
Also, this voice recorder comes with zero accessories. And the accessories must be ordered from Sony.

What's great about it: Records just fine
What's not so great: No way to get recorded files onto a computer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
