The fact that this movie is based on a true story makes it for me. The acting is superb and the story is unbelievable! DiCaprio and Hanks are spectular! Watch this!
Based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley, 300 takes over the screen like an invading horde. With all the gushing blood of a horror movie and the scope of a classic epic, the second film from Zack Snyder (who helmed the 2004 remake of DAWN OF THE DEAD) is an impressive visual spectacle. Director Zack Snyder Star Gerard Butler, Tom Wisdom, Andrew Pleavin, Vincent Regan, Lena Headey, David Wenham, Special Features Widescreen Audio Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround - English, French, Spanish Subtitles - English, French, Spanish Additional Material Audio Commentary - Zack Snyder - Director; Kurt - Writer; Larry Fong - Director of Photography Trailer Runtime 116 minutes Year of 2007.

Visually stunning but an overall huge disappointment! I was so excited to watch this for the first time and expected to be blown away, however after it ended i felt cheated and was greatful that it was actually over. I've read mixed reviews myself on this and can't see the other side other than the cinematography was amazing, but that doesn't make a movie for me, there has to be more for me to give this a better rating and it simply doesn't exist.
Martin Scorsese's gangster epic Goodfellas originally appeared on DVD in the early days of the format. This two-disc special edition replaces that first release as the definitive DVD of the film. The movie itself is presented in the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. This is a difficult film to transfer because of the deep reds, but this disc looks as good as one could possibly hope. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a Spanish soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. The extensive supplemental materials include one of the finest commentary tracks ever recorded. Featuring just about every major figure involved in the film (both in front of and behind the camera) , the track offers comments from Scorsese that reveal how every aspect of production figures into every shot. Listening to him explain why the famous "What's so funny about me" scene would not work in a film with an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 is a master class in film directing. A second commentary track features Henry Hill, the real life gangster played in the film by Ray Liotta, and an FBI agent who spent his career tracking down gangsters. A second disc contains an information packed documentary on the making of the film, and a short featurette in which directors Richard Linklater, Jon Favrau, and Allen and Albert Hughes discuss the film's influence. Simply stated, this is one of the best DVD releases of 2004.

Martin Scorsese outdoes himself here with ground breaking camera work and one tremendous story of the mob. One of the best, if not the best mob movie ever made!
What's great about it: Ground breaking for Martin Scorsese and film
Feeling bogged down by the trials of contemporary living? If you're just having one of those days where the world seems stacked against you, just sit back, relax, and follow Michael Douglas as he wages war on the frustrations of modern life in Warner Bros.' release of Falling Down. Viewable in either 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen (enhanced for 16 x 9 TVs) or standard 1.33:1 full-screen pan-and-scan, this disc also offers a closed-captioned English Dolby Digital Surround audio track, a French Dolby Digital Surround track, and optional English and French subtitles. Extra features accompanying this chillingly humorous voyage into the troubled psyche of a disturbed soul include interactive trailers and an original theatrical trailer.

Wouldn't it be great to blow away the jerk on the street that says something smart to you? Without the consequences of course! This movie is fun and in your face! Definitely worth watching!
Ferris Bueller's Day Off needed a new special edition DVD and it got it with the Bueller...Bueller...Edition, a release that adds plenty of bells and whistles to the much-loved film. While Paramount dropped John Hughes commentary from the 1999 release and has yet to include the film's trailer, enough insight can be gleamed from the making-ofs that it almost makes up for these oversights. On a positive note, the film has been given a stellar presentation for the digital age, with a new anamorphic widescreen picture and 5.1 Dolby Digital sound for best optimum viewing experience. The extras are detailed and feature most of the cast and crew, though interestingly, Hughes is only represented by some vintage 1986 clips, which are actually more in-depth than you'd think. Featuring clips on the casting, the inspiration, the general making-of, and even a special on Ben Stein, the disc goes a long way to cover certainly one of the most popular comedies of its time. Also included is are some tongue-in-cheek segments on-set in which the cast interviews each other, along with a gallery section consisting of the film's costume tests. The Bueller...Bueller...Edition might be awkwardly named, but it delivers the goods in a satisfying way that would make Ferris proud.

Groundbreaking for its time this movie delivers a great story and drama that keeps you glued to the screen! Have i mentioned the outstanding storyline? Timeless movies for the ages!
The producers behind the debaucherous comedies Road Trip and Old School teamed up with jailbait actress Michelle Trachtenberg and relative newcomers Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, and Travis Wester for this globetrotting raunchfest about four young Americans who traipse across Europe in search of one of the lads' sexy German pen pal. The unrated director's cut is presented with an impressive treatment on this DVD. Featuring a version of the film that is three minutes longer than the one shown in theaters, the disc bears a widescreen transfer of the film with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound soundtracks in both the original English and dubbed French. Additionally, the English audio track can be heard in Dolby Digital 2.0, and there are subtitles in English, Spanish, and French. And when the makers of this release say "unrated," they really mean unrated, even down to the menus and the collection of deleted scenes, which differ from those found on the simultaneously released R-rated DVD. There are multiple audio-commentary tracks included, as well as two featurettes, including one that takes fans behind the scenes of the infamous nude beach scene. Rounding out the package is a music video, a karaoke feature, bios, and an image gallery. In addition to the aforementioned rated version, Eurotrip is also available on an unrated full-screen disc with the same features.

For years people had been clamoring for the release of the '80s classic The Goonies on DVD. Featuring a cast of crazy and kooky characters, director Richard Donner's fantasy-filled children's tale comes to DVD in an edition worthy of One Eyed Willie's gold. Warner has done a spectacular job cleaning up the anamorphic 2.35:1 print, making colors look exciting and alive. Sloth and Chunk have never looked so clean and concise! Black levels are solid and there is a minimum of edge enhancement. To say the least, this is the best The Goonies has ever looked, and Warner gets high praise for doing a terrific job on the transfer. Audio is presented in a new Dolby Digital 5.1 remix, and although it's not as impressive as other remixes, this one does a great job of enveloping the viewer in the world of The Goonies. All the speakers are used during many action sequences, and dialogue, effects and Dave Grusin's hyperactive music score are all crisp and clear. Also featured are Dolby Surround 2.0 tracks in English and French, as well as a Dolby Mono 1.0 track in Spanish. Finally there are subtitles in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. Many fans will be happy to know that Warner has put much time and effort into including some great supplemental features. A video/audio commentary track with all seven original Goonies plus Richard Donner is both amusing and nostalgic. Warner splices scenes from the movie with images from the recording session to bring fans a unique and interesting commentary track by the stars of the movie. "The Making of the Goonies" is a 1985 promotional documentary that includes interviews with cast and crew, as well as behind-the-scenes glimpses of the production. A two-part Cyndi Lauper video for the song "The Goonies 'R' Good Enough" entertains with guest stars such as pro wrestlers "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and the Iron Sheik. Directed by Richard Donner, this video is a riot to watch, and the song is unexpectedly catchy. Finally there is an anamorphic theatrical trailer along with some deleted outtakes featuring the infamous "Octopus" scene, mentioned in the film but rarely seen by fans. Drooling fans of this classic kids film will be ecstatic to get their hands on some great extra features, a nice transfer, and finely mixed audio tracks. In the words of Cyndi Lauper, The Goonies certainly 'R' good enough!

can I purchase a part for the wii Rockband drum set?
Unfortunately not...There isn't pieces out there for purchase. Sorry to say you gotta buy the whole drum set. Good thing is, they sell the drum set separately and not just a package with mic and guitar. Hope this helps!
