One of the most polished games to date.

I won't go into much detail with this game since countless articles, reviews, and blogs have been written about it. I will say that in the months leading up to this game's release I wasn't interested in it at all and thought it would be a huge failure. That all changed when I played the demo. I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought it and proceeded to beat it 4 times within a few months. It is incredibly well done, from graphics and physics to story and light-RPG elements like uprading your weapons. It really is a masterpiece of video game storytelling and the presentation is near perfect. Bioshock is a unique and involving masterpiece that simply needs to be experienced by any hardcore gamer.
What's great about it: Excels in every major catagory.
What's not so great: Lack of actual game overs may turn away some people.

A work of art.

I don't usually get into the argument of whether or not video games can be considered art because I find that to be a pointless argument. However there is no other way I can describe this game. The music is masterful, especially during the third colossus, which was an incredible experience. The environment feels real and the graphics, even today, are incredible considering the hardware it uses. This game is a satisfying and unique experience from beginning to end. The only downside is lack of real replay value. In about 25 hours you could beat the game twice, once on each difficulty, and probably climb the massive tower in the middle of the game world. But really, the game is only $20 so it's not a problem. You still get your money's worth. I'm really interested in what Last Guardian is going to be like.
What's great about it: Music, graphics, gameplay, bosses.
What's not so great: Not much replay value.

Resistance 2 is way better.

This was my first game for the Playstation 3 and provided plenty of fun. However now that I have the sequel, I simply can't play this one. Insomniac did an incredible job with the sequel, upping the ante in every way. The only downside of that is now the first one just can't compete. That doesn't mean it's bad, it just has been greatly improved with the sequel. That said, plenty of people still play online and it can still provide plenty of hours of fun. So if you want a new game but can't afford a new $60 game, Resistance 1 would be a great choice.
What's great about it: Fun and unique weapons, lag-free 40 player multiplayer.
What's not so great: After playing the sequal for a substantial amount of time, everything about this one looks and feels outdated.

This game was a breath of fresh air for me. It reminded me of how video games should be: fun, just good lasting fun built with impressive technology. While I didn't encounter anything really all that difficult and the Arena can be farmed for money easily, this game is just plain fun, and while many games lose their fun factor after awhile this game stays enjoyable even if you've played ratchet games before. The weapons are the real star of the game and they don't disappoint. Also, this is a game that actually utilizes the SIXAXIS the way it should be used: in fun, simple ways and also used sparingly. For $30 this is a gem of a game that every PS3 gamer who loves good games should own, and makes me look forward to A Crack in Time.
What's great about it: Fun and enjoyable, good variety of upgradeable weapons, graphics still look good even after 2 years.
What's not so great: A little easy.

One of the best bands and best guitar heros.

I only consider myself a casual guitar hero player. That said, this is by far my favorite Guitar Hero. I think the reason this one drew me in the way it did was because for one it features one of my favorite bands and also because the onstage performance is actually believable and fun to watch. They really nailed the "feels like you're at a real Metallica concert" idea, and did I mention the gameplay is a lot of fun. I only recommend this as a social experience though as I've always found Music/Rhythm games to be quite simple and boring when playing alone. This game is best played with 2 or 3 good friends on a weekend night. I can't imagine this game having much replay value when playing alone, unless you're a hardcore GH fanatic. That's not a complaint about this specific game, it's just a problem I find with all GH or Rock Band game.
What's great about it: Wide selection of great songs that are fun to play, onstage animations are awesome.
What's not so great: Boring when playing alone.

Halo mixed with Call of Duty.

Bad Company is like a mix of halo and call of duty. You get plenty of vehicles and it takes a lot of bullets to kill someone like on Halo, and you get the realistic military setting like in Call of Duty. The campaign is long but gets boring too easily and the story and characters are forgettable. Besides Haggard maybe, but that's a big maybe. My only real complaint about online is that the sniper rifles are way too underpowered. It always takes at least two shots to kill someone, even if you're using the .50 caliber M95, which is ridiculous. At long enough ranges I've seen people take two sniper bullets to the head. Other than that this is a fun online shooter and for $20 it's a good deal. If you like the military setting but don't like the two bullets you're down gameplay of Call of Duty this is the game for you. Oh, and yes blowing stuff up is really fun as well.
What's great about it: Destruction, graphics, gameplay.
What's not so great: Campaign can get boring, snipers are horrible online.

Resistance 2 improves on the original in every way. The graphics are a huge step up. Speaking of which, the online graphics look better than many games do offline, and with 60 players playing at once with virtually no lag that is an amazing step forward for console gaming. The campaign is a lot of fun and the weapons are fun and satisfying. Of course, I would expect no less from the creators of the Ratchet and Clank series. My only complaint is that you can only rank up in matchmaking which is a little annoying considering it's easier to find more, larger matches in custom games. Also a small minority of Resistance 1 players might not like the slower, more Call of Duty-like approach to character movement, but I think it's an improvement. You do move at a slower pace, but now you get the option to sprint. Overall, the gameplay as well as every other aspect of this game has been given more depth and made better overall. 5 Stars and a recommendation no doubt. It's a good time to own a Playstation.
What's great about it: Improves on the original in every way.
What's not so great: Can only rank up in matchmaking, not in custom match.

A truly innovative game.

Little Big Planet is THE most innovative and original game of this console generation and another reason to own a Playstation. Nearly everything about this game is fresh, original, beautiful and above all, fun. And it has a ton of replay value as well. After you finish playing the lengthy story, you've still got a ton of great and original player-created content you can browse and play through as well as the ability to create your own masterpieces. I've played player-created versions of Sonic, Contra, MGS, Star Wars, Theme Parks, and even the Japanese TV show Ninja Warrior. My advice though, don't draw any conclusions about the game until you get to the second area of the story (Savanna) and played some high rated community levels (like The Bunker and Star Wars battle of Hoth) because it can be a little boring when you're just getting started, but after you really get into this game it will provide you with countless hours of quality fun. Oh and co-op is really fun as well. One last comment: This game has some of the best graphics on any platform. This is largely because LBP has some of the best art direction and level design out there for side-scrollers. My only complaint is it doesn't support true, native 1080p but that's really not a big deal since barely any games actually do. Overall an impressive, masterful game that makes me look forward to ModNation Racers in 2010. 5 Stars, hands down.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Custom soundtracks can't be played while playing a level, first few levels a little boring.

A lot of fun.

This game is a lot of fun, especially if you are at least a casual DBZ fan. There's tons of characters, plenty of maps, and lots of stuff to keep you busy. The gameplay is fun and easy to learn. I prefer using the gamecube controller to play though, as the wii controls aren't anything special and the GC controller feels better than the classic controller. The graphics are great but no widescreen is a little annoying but not too big a deal. The game still fills up most of my widescreen HDTV. Multiplayer offline is a lot of fun but it is in splitscreen because of the style of play. You both move independently around the map, which is an improvement in my opinion but the splitscreen is slightly annoying. I didn't play online much but the matches I saw were laggy, however it could have been the host's connection. I only fought one guy (with a few rematches). For $20 this is a really good deal for one of the best fighting games on wii.
What's great about it: Great graphics (for wii), fun and easy-to-learn gameplay, lots of replay value.
What's not so great: Two player is in split-screen, doesn't support true 16:9 widescreen.

One of Megadeth's best albums.
on July 6, 2009
Posted by: Tommy870
from Owensboro, KY
This is one of my favorite Megadeth albums, right beside Peace Sells and Rust in Peace. I have all the Megadeth albums with the exception of Risk and the compilations like Capital Punishment. The music in this album is fast, intense, and it justs sounds right. The lyrics are classic Mustaine: intelligent, catchy, with real world themes like war, politics, and even faith (see Never Walk Alone-great song). This album also applys directly to the times we're living in as the title allures to U.N. corruption and songs like Washington is Next and Amerikastin touch on terrorism pretty heavily. The final song, Burnt Ice, Mustaine says is about the harmful affects of meth which is on the rise in the 21st century. For Megadeth fans, the remake of A Tout Le Monde should be a real treat and Sleepwalker is one of the most intense and heavy songs out there which borders on overwhelming at times but never crosses that line, making it, and this whole album a must have for metal and/or Megadeth fans.
What's great about it: Great Music, Lyrics, Cover Art and Album Design.
What's not so great: Amerikastan is a little weak.

I just got my xbox back from being repaired and now it's having issues again. should i get a new one?

I just got my xbox 360 back like maybe two weeks ago, if that, and the first issue was a error 73. now every time i put a disk in it doesn't read it so i can't play anything. So should i try to get it repaired again and lose more money, or should i just buy a new one?
I feel your pain. I've been through FOUR Xbox 360s. No joke. My advice is don't pay to have it repaired if your having these issues. Instead buy a new one at Best Buy and purchase the two year replacement warranty. It may cost more up front but will save you the headache next time it breaks.

how do i set up my ps3 bluetooth ear piece?

Click on accessories on the XMB Dashboard and go to Manage Bluetooth. Afterwards either enter the specific info for your bluetooth or have the PS3 scan for it. You also have to have your Bluetooth turned on and maybe set to scan as well, not sure.

If you mean "do they sell PSN subscriptions?" then no because PSN is a free service. As for prepaid PSN Store cards, they come in $20 and $50 cards.

are there any others options to go online with my xbox 360 besides the offical wireless adapter

You can use the official ethernet connector on the back of the Xbox. lol Okay seriously, I don't know of any other way so if you're wanting wireless you're probably gonna have to pay for Microsoft's good but way overpriced adapter. I'm not particularly looking forward to getting one with my next Xbox either.

Battlefield 1943 ???

I have never owned or played any of the battlefield games, is this one as good as all my friends say it is ? Cuz they are totally obsessed.
I personally prefer Bad Company and the older Modern Combat Battlefield games myself. On the other hand, my friend who has played all the PC Battlefields doesn't care too much for any of the console versions besides maybe Bad Company. (He still gets angry with it though)

Call of Duty 3 ?

I am looking for a wwii era war/first person shooter game this looks to be the best(Besides battlefield 1943) is it ? (I am really clueless)
Personally I prefer Call of Duty: World at War. It's (in my opinion) the best online WWII FPS on consoles, largely due to the Call of Duty 4 set-up. But if you don't like the CoD4 type of online or can't afford the $40 to $60 to buy it, 1943 would be a good buy. Just expect less maps and guns as well as toned down graphics.

Play Station Store ?

I am looking in to getting a PS3, what is play station store and how does it work? (how do i put in money?)
PS Store is essentially the same as Xbox marketplace. You can download free demos and wallpapers as well as use prepaid PS3 cards (you can find them anywhere that sells video games) or set the store up on your credit card to purchase downloadable content for your games, premium themes for your XMB Dashboard, and even classic PS1 games. In fact, two multiplayer-only PS3 titles - Socom Confrontation and Warhawk, are available for purchase and full download off the PS Store. My only advice is maybe wait another month or two to buy a PS3 as there is a lot of talk that they may drop the price before the holiday season.

Which 360 is best for me?

I'm interested in getting a 360 but don't know which one to get. I'm only planning on playing maybe a game or two. I don't intend to play online or anything like that. Is the Arcade version for me? Also, do all (including Arcade to Elite, etc) the latest Xbox have that thing called Jaspar Chip (or something along the lines)?

Thanks in advance!
All Xbox's are the same internally as far as I know. Your best bet would be the pro. I've owned 3 Arcade/Core units (each one broke) and and Elite. The Elite is nice but kind of unneccesary unless you absolutely need the extra hard drive space. The Arcade doesn't come with a chrome DVD tray and very little space for saved games. Also, i'm not sure if the Arcade comes with an HDMI output which may or may not matter to you. My advice: go for the Pro.
