I'm glad this game is $30 now because it's really just a glorified expansion pack to Vegas 1. You get a new campaign based in the same timeline and some new maps and guns. Problem is, you lose most of the maps from Vegas 1, which were better than the ones in this one in my opinion. That said, this is still the same addicting gameplay found in the first one and it excels on it's own, but doesn't have the same impact as Vegas 1. The customization and character/gun graphics are still some of the best in Xbox FPS's but the environment graphics, while not bad, lack detail in many areas. Personally I like Vegas 2 online better than Vegas 1 simply because the ridiculous amount of patches made to the first one ruined it, making it feel like Rainbow Six: Halo edition. That's a real shame though because the only things that make Vegas 2 online any better is improved gun graphics, more guns, and a few good maps, just not as many as Vegas 1.
What's great about it: Guns, Customization, Terrorist Hunt, Co-op, Online.
What's not so great: Environment graphics could be better, online maps aren't as good as Vegas 1.

If I can describe this game as simply as I could I would say this: Fight Night Round 4 is THE best Fight Night game ever made and the most amazing boxing game as well. If you are like me and have followed the Fight Night series since 2004 then you're in for a treat. Round 4 has taken the tried and true formula, simplified it and made it better. Everything from the physics to the graphics have received a complete overhaul and the end result is incredible. The only thing I didn't like about the game is the training, but I don't know if that's the game or if I just suck at it. The online is very well done. I have a 6-2 w/l ratio and have played several private matches and haven't experienced any lag. Everything runs fast and smooth from the menus to actually playing a match. You can also download user-created boxers which is cool. I now have a Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Rocky, and Gollum (I kid you not, i'm serious). My friend found an Arnold Swarzanneger and I also found an accurate Evander Holyfield (rated 4 or 5 stars I think). You can upload your created boxers, rate other peoples' boxers and also take them into the online World Championship mode which is a persistant online Championship where you compete for rank as well as belts. I don't care too much for the soundtrack but that's just because I don't care for the rap genre at all. Overall this game is incredible and also one of the finest looking 720p games you will fine. Hands down a 5 star game.
What's great about it: Lots of great boxers to choose from, graphics, physics and animations, Online Features, George Foreman.
What's not so great: Training, Soundtrack, Joystick-only play could be a major turn off for some people.

My 12 year old sister got this game recently and we finished playing through all the episodes last night. I gotta say, not many games have the kind of replay value this game has. We were only 33.74% done after playing through every episode once. There's tons of characters and extras to unlock and tons of stuff to find and do. You won't fully complete this game without investing some serious time into it. This game is best played in co-op with a friend or family member. As for me i'm 18 playing with my 12 year sister. It's a lot of fun and it has tons of moments that are funny, just not laugh out loud hilarious. You'll notice that this game doesn't take itself seriously at all. It did get a little boring for me after a few hours but i'm that way with every game. My only major gripe with this game is a horrible camera during co-op. Me and my sister were constantly arguing when we would both try to go in a different direction and the camera wouldn't allow it, more than a few times resulting in one of us falling off a cliff. Speaking of which, you can never get a game over. You just lose lego pieces (a kind of currency) every time. Besides the camera problems, this is a fun game with tons of replay value best played with a friend or family member.
What's great about it: Tons of replay value, fun and addicting gameplay, doesn't take itself seriously.
What's not so great: Frustrating camera in co-op, can get boring after a long play session.

Wow, for $20 this is one of the best deals out there for Xbox 360 gamers. This game was groundbreaking when it came out. The story, dialogue system and combat system were all new and refreshing as well as a lot of fun and incredibly well done. Sure, the drawn out conversations can be mind-numbing at times and the teammate AI has its moments but for the most part this game delivers with good quality entertainment. The story is epic and the characters are unique and varied, each having their own story and personality. The graphics hold up really well almost two years later as well. Their are tons of customization options as well. You get six character classes to choose from, four weapons, armor, five teammates, and you can even customize your ammo and grenade type. The combat is a near-perfect balance of RPG and tactical 3rd person combat, however most battles are over in no time. My only major complaint with this game is the consistently repetitive side missions. The buildings and environments aren't very unique and you'll notice early on that most of them are just cookie-cutter and not very unique. That said, the story missions are very well done and not repetive at all. Also just one small complaint against the alien romance plot you can explore if you choose. I couldn't help but laugh when these characters are acting all serious as if there's nothing at all weird about a man (or woman) having a romantic and even physical relationship with a slimy blue alien chick. But whatever, this game rocks, and for $20 it's a great deal for someone wanting a fun entertaining experience with tons of replay value and a good story. 4 Stars and a Recommendation go to Mass Effect.
What's great about it: Real-Time Combat, Story, Graphics, Customization, Dialogue System.
What's not so great: Many Environments are repetitive, Stupid alien romance plot.

This controller is a pretty big improvement over the PS2 and older SIXAXIS controllers. With the Dualshock 3 you get rumble support as well as more overall weight. You will also get a built-in rechargable battery pack with a charge cable that hooks right up to your PS3. It holds a long charge (25-30 hours) as well. The L2 and R2 buttons are now triggers which is a decent improvement over the PS2 but not as good as the Xbox 360 triggers. The joysticks are also the most free-flowing of any current-gen controller. It's as close to mouse and keyboard accuracy you can get out of a controller at the time. My only gripes with the design is that it is a little too small (the palm grips need to be longer) and the placement of the left trigger and D-pad could be switched up. The SIXAXIS is actually a nice feature in my opinion as long as it's utilized right (Ratchet and Clank, Killzone 2). I gave Durability a 5 because my friend submerged his in a glass of water and it works fine. Value for price is also a 5 because for $55 you get a quality controller with a built-in rechargable battery and cable as well as limited motion-control. Some people complain about the price being too high compared to the Xbox 360 controllers but just do the math. To get the Xbox controller and play and charge kit it costs $75 after tax whereas for only $55 you get both in the PS3 controller.
What's great about it: Looks awesome, Durable, Built-in rechargable battery and charge cable.
What's not so great: Too small, Triggers could be better (think Xbox 360).

This controller is designed really well, much better than the old Xbox controllers. It's very durable as well. Between me and my friends we've thrown, dropped, sat on, and hit ours several times and they still work like they're new. The connection works well at all times and it has excellant distance as well. My wii controllers get patchy connection at about 20 feet but this controller maintains a near-perfect connection. What really gets me about this controller is the price. I mean, come on Microsoft you already over charge for accessories as it is with the wireless adaptor and chargers and stuff. A PS3 controller costs $55.00 and you get a quality controller with a built-in rechargable battery pack and a free cable to charge it with. With this controller you would have to buy the controller and play and charge kit seperately which runs about $75 after tax. Also the standalone battery charger is another $20 as well. And if you don't buy these extra chargers then you have to pay constantly for extra AA batteries. I can't really recommend this at the time being because we're in a recession and this is the electronic equivilant of gas gouging. But if you really need a extra controller and you want the most durable and reliable Xbox 360 controller out there (and you can spare the extra money), then this is the way to go.
What's great about it: Good design, durable, works great, looks cool, joysicks are positioned well and triggers are best there is.
What's not so great: Too expensive for what you get, battery pack holder can make your fingers feel a little cramped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my favorite WWII game on consoles. Everything is very well done even if it is built off the Call of Duty 4 blueprint. Co-op is awesome, the campaign is very good with many "Oh Snap this is awesome" moments. The last two levels are the highlight for me. I wish people would stop calling this Call of Duty 5 and getting mad at it being WWII. It's made by Treyarch, not Infinity Ward (the studio that developed Modern Warfare). This game is basically the WWII counterpart to Modern Warfare and is unique as well, mostly due to the time era. Bayonets, gore and attachments on WWII guns are awesome. Oh and attack dogs are a sweet adition. I gave graphics a 4 because better looking games were already out (see MGS4 in true, native 1080p) but this is a beatiful and very well done game, as well as being the game that showed that Treyarch is a competant development studio after all. Oh and one more small point: tanks don't ruin the gameplay, obsessively hardcore players do. I love getting together with a buddy or two and trying to take one down with satchel charges and what not. People who complain just don't like dying after one hit, which makes me wonder why they are playing Call of Duty and not Halo in the first place. Oh sorry, ADD moment. I would recommend this to anyone who likes WWII shooters or good games and I give it 4 stars.
What's great about it: Campaign, Co-op, Multiplayer, Zombies, Weapons.
What's not so great: TANKS (!!!), nah just kidding I like tanks, spawning in the middle of a firefight and dying.

With Twilight Princess, Nintendo has taken the basic blueprint for 3D Zelda games established in Ocarina of Time and polished it to near perfection. The same basic combat exists but has been given more depth here with a handful of new moves and weapons as well as combat on horseback, all made better with the wii remote. How you progress through the game is basically the same. You will start off in a small village when something happens which leads you into a story driven quest searching for items, weapons and ultimately saving the world from a great evil.
The story is one of the deepest and most enjoyable in the series. The absence of voiceovers for the characters takes away from it though. The cutscenes and dialogue are really good and would have been even better with good voice acting. Also, the game is a little on the easy side.
I gave graphics and sound a 4 because while this is a very beatiful game with excellent art direction (wait till you see the twilight world), this is a ported gamecube and as such doesn't take advantage of the wii's extra hardware capability. You'll see some blurry textures and other graphical shortcomings as well as sound that is not up to par with most other games out there. It's not bad by any means but I'd like to see what Nintendo can do using the full power of the wii.
Overall this is an exceptionally well done game which will take a long time to fully experience. My first playthrough took 56 hours and I still haven't found everything. It's a lot of fun and sure to please longtime Zelda fans. Nintendo has nearly perfected the Ocarina of Time blueprint. However after completing it I was left wanting Nintendo to let this be the OoT era's swan song and make the next Zelda a completely fresh, overhauled experience built for wii. I give Twilight Princess 4 stars and I would recommend it to anyone.

As a fun party game this game rocks. I've had many good times playing co-op and multiplayer with my friends. My only advice is don't take this game seriously. As a hardcore game it sucks. It gets boring fast and the many obsessive players take all the fun out of it. I really enjoyed it as a fun party game though. Me and my friends would have all kinds of fun goofing off like driving around in a mongoose just trying to drive over people or killing the hardcore obsessive guys and watching them leave after cussing everyone out. The theater mode and forge are pretty cool and some of the user-created content is actually really good. I would recommend this game to a friend but would warn them not to take it too seriously.
What's great about it: Fun if taken lightly, Co-op, Vehicles
What's not so great: Overhyped, People who take the game too seriously.

If you had me describe Hells Highway in the simplest terms I can I would call it Rainbow Six in WWII. The whole look and feel of the game is almost exactly the same. By looks I mean the guns are up close and highly detailed. Also the graphics are all around very well done. By feel I mean you will be moving at aboud the same speed and pace as well as commanding a team in about the same way without the room clearing tactics. Also, the cover system is similar but with no blind firing. The Singl-player is very well done and a lot of fun. However the online is no where near Rainbow Six. There isn't many games to join and it's not something I can see myself commiting several hours of game time to. Despite the online, this is a very well done game that deserves at least a rental by anyone who loves tactical team-based shooters. I can only recommend it if you can find it for $20 or so or if you plan on renting it. Replay value is kind of low.
What's great about it: Campaign, Graphics, Realistic Guns
What's not so great: Not much in the way of online.

Which way is best to set your xbox 360. horizontal or vertical?
I'm gonna say horizontal. It leaves the bottom vent (that one sucks the most air in) open and from my experience the Xbox runs quieter as well. I've been through 3 or 4 Xboxs (RROD) but I know a guy who says he's had his set horizontal since he got his back in '05-'06 and he's never had to replace or repair it. Setting it horizontal would be the safest way to set it up but the most important thing is that it's well ventilated and in a room that doesn't get too hot. Hope you don't have the same problems i've had with my Xbox's.

What are some pros and cons for owning a Wii?
What are some pros and cons for buying and owning a Wii? I want to buy a Wii and want to know all the details before I spend any cash.
The main pro is this is 2009 so you get access to several high quality games, retail and DLC, and there are more coming within the next year. I only recommend the exclusives though because the multi-platform games are always weaker on wii with very few exceptions. The major cons are there isn't any good online games on par with Killzone 2, CoD, etc. and the hardware is also very far behind the other next-gen consoles. As a secondary console to an Xbox 360 and/or PS3 the wii is an excellant investment, especially if you're like me and grew up playing NES, N64, and Sega Genesis. The newest entries into the old games (zelda, metroid, etc.) are awesome and most of the classics can be downloaded for $5-$10 a piece.

what is all the hype with teh Hz's 60, 120, or 240?
It's just meant to cut down on motion-blur in LCD screens that's all. In reality, I've read several comments an CNET reviews where majority of people can't tell a significant differance between 60 Hz and 120/240 Hz. My advice, if you got a few extra hundred dollars then go ahead and get a 120/240 Hz but 60 Hz is fine. I got a 60 Hz and rarely notice motion blur except when surfing the net on my PS3. Which, speaking of which video games only display at 30-60 Hz unless it's a PC game. If you plan on using your HDTV as a computer monitor then a higher Hz would probably be better but 60 Hz is still good enough.

Time to replace my power supply?
My Xbox 360 Power Supply (The black box with the light on it...) seems to overheat quite fast recently I was able to play my 360 for hours before it got as hot as it has now, today I only played it for around... 2 to 3 hours and I was playing my game from the harddrive, does this mean it is time to replace my power supply?
I wouldn't replace it just yet because it's expensive. You might try using a can of compressed air or something to clean any dust out of the vents as the fan may be clogged. Also your room temperature might be affecting it. I know around where I live it gets hot during the summer and I try not to play Xbox as long as it does have to work harder to cool itself down which isn't a good thing (RROD). It is going to get a little warm though as it takes over 300 watts to power it.

What size power inverter do I need to run an Xbox 360 in a car?
Not sure for the 360 but my step dad says a 600W will barely run it but will heat it up. 800-1000W would be safe.
