In The End

Slaughter didn't get as much time to enjoy the popularity of pop rock oriented metal like bands such as Poison, Warrant, and various others did but they did manage to score a few hits with this album. 'Fly To the Angels' is one of their most well known songs and they did an excellent job re-mastering and polishing the song on this album, the same goes for 'Up All Night', 'Burnin Bridges' and the rest of the tracks on the album. They also managed to squeeze in a number of previously unreleased demo tracks of songs like 'Up All Night' and 'Fly to the Angels'. In short, those who have the original pressing of the album, its worth double dipping for how much better the re-master sounds and the demo tracks, and for those who are new 80's metal, while this album didn't come out until 1990, Slaughter was still very much an 80's metal band. After their second release Mark's vocals got even better so I also recommend trying to track down Fear No Evil and Revolution, both are imports and no longer in print in the US but worth tracking down.

All You Really Need

I hesitated when it came to getting a smartphone for a long time because I'm not a social media junkie, I have no interest in playing video games or watching films on a phone, and I could care less about having a camera built into my phone. However, I am an Ebay seller so I finally caved and that's when I found this phone. It ranges from 50-60 dollars and it does everything I need. It has Google Chrome pre-installed and with Chrome I can keep track of my Ebay auctions, and it has a pre-installed Gmail app so I can stay in touch with potential buyers and whanot. It also has a decent pre-installed music player, holds a charge for long time. In short, the Moto E is great for parents who don't want to spend a fortune on a phone for their kid, and its great for those who aren't total app/social media junkies, but the phone does use Android so it can run any of the apps the Galaxy can.

Solid Headset But Overpriced
on March 31, 2016

Motorolla make a headset, I believe its the S900, that have more features than the Skullcandy's, a longer charge time, and sound just as good but they have one drawback, they aren't very sweat resistant. In short, if one is a gym rat, I highly recommend the Skullcandy's. They have less features than the LG Tone's and are around the same price but the LG Tone's are known to have a bug where the mic will cut out if you're near certain wifi devices, and the wiring on them is far more fragile, while the Skullcandy wiring is a bit more sturdy.
In short..
1. Motorolla's S900 are ideal for non gym rats and 10-15 dollars less and have more features...
2. Skullcandy's are idea for gym rats and for those who don't care about limited features
3. The LG Tone's need are just bad...

Top Of The Line Remaster
on March 31, 2016

WHen it comes to remastered cd's its a game of hit and miss, some are too loud, some aren't significantly different enough to make it worth re-purchasing the album, and some are just perfect. When it comes to this cd, the remastering is perfect and the highs and lows are cleaned up and more dynamic then ever and it sounds like a modern day recording, not an old vinyl album or cassette.
And its a great album as well, chock full of some of PB's best songs.

80's Hard Rock
on December 21, 2015

New Jersey is the album where Bon Jovi took the 80's hard rock sound as far as it could go, and while it is a great album chock full of hits like 'Livin' on a Prayer' and 'I'll Be There For You', what came after was even better. However, with that being said, this is still hands down the best 80's Bon Jovi album, only Slippery When Wet comes close when it comes to their 80's material.

Prince has a solid discography but this would have to be his most popular release, and with good reason, there isn't one bad track on the album. And for an album that's over 30 years old, it still sounds pretty fresh today. However, it is in dire need of being re-mastered since the volume is really low and it could use a dynamic facelift, as well as some bonus tracks.

Unlike a lot of bands featuring a Hollywood actor, 30 Seconds To Mars actually creates pretty solid music. Out of all their releases, this one tends to be the most addicting due to outstanding singles like Revolution, Attack, and a few others. The way they combine progressive rock, hard rock, and modern day alternative rock is impressive, and Leto's vocals are top notch. The only down side, the copy protection they use on many of their cd's can lead to playback issues on some cd-rom players.

Big Bang

Sebastian and the gang kind of came out of nowhere with their debut album. It isn't in the same league as Appetite for Destruction, but its still a really good debut album. Songs like 18 and Life and Youth Gone Wild still sound just as good today as they did in '89, and it was obvious from this release the band was going to just get better, and they did, until the band and Sebastian split up.

Run For The Hills...

Ghost's first album very Mercyful Fate like, which isn't a good thing since that style of metal sounds pretty dated these days. Their second release however, on their second release they've decided to go for a more 70's style of metal, at times I'm reminded of Blue Oyster Cult, which isn't a bad thing. However, while the band does sound better on this release, it suffers from a few things that just kill it. First off, there are a few tracks that suffer from poor mastering. There are a few tracks where the mastering is really bad and the highs and lows come off really messed up. But what really causes this release to suffer is that although the songs sound good, the lyrics go above and beyond corny. The whole cartoony satanic thing worked well for Ozzy back in the day but Ghost just takes it to a level that just makes it come off idiotic.
In short, one is probably better off just buying a Weird Al album if they want comedy like lyrics, or Spectres by Blue Oyster Cult if they're looking for some really good classic 70's metal or the first Black Sabbath cd if they want that demonic edge.

As Good As It Gets

If one needs a USB gamepad to play their games on Steam or Uplay or what have you, this is the gamepad they want. Most games these days are optimized to use the 360 gamepad, so it just works better than the others on most modern games. The other great thing about the gamepad is since it's a Microsoft product, one doesn't need to install any 3rd party software, Windows 7 and Windows 8 will just automatically install the necessary driver for the gamepad, and its good to go.
One thing to keep in mind, on older games like San Andreas, the second stick isn't enabled. There are 3rd party programs out there that will enable the stick but the programs sometimes will cause those older games to crash. But I doubt very many are still playing games as old as San Andreas.
