Terrible reception, lots of dropped keypresses.

This keyboard has terrible reception. I tried the receiver behind my pc and it dropped key presses like crazy and I am only about 5 feet away with my pc up on top of a table. Moved the receiver to the front usb and it is a lot better but still at about 4 feet away it drops a lot of key presses. Especially if the pc is busy at all it won't respond. Useless.
What's great about it: Size, feel, looks
What's not so great: Reception
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fan and non-Fan's of Ghostbusters will enjoy it.

I am really enjoying this game. It has its faults but overall is very fun and worthy of the name Ghostbusters. I am on my third playthrough right now on the hardest difficulty. It does however lock up my 360 every once in awhile (3 times so far). Mainly does it when I am destroying the environment.
Also the ghosts all seem to have an AOE type of attack and doesn't need to hit you directly in order to knock you out. There have been many times where the whole team was too close and was wiped out by one attack. Be ready for a lot of reloading due to this.
What's great about it: Atmosphere, story, fun
What's not so great: Freezes, AOE attacks from Ghosts

I absolutely love this game. It is one of my favorites. I am now playing through it on my third time. This time on Nightmare Difficulty.
What's great about it: Good thriller without a ton of gore.
What's not so great: Not that hard of a game even on Nightmare.

If you like slapstick this movie is for you

I loved this movie. I rented it and laughed my head off the entire time. If you are into Three Stooges slapstick type of humor this movie is for you. It has a pretty predictable story line but I don't watch comedy's like this for story. I am definitely buying this ASAP.
What's great about it: Funny
What's not so great: Typical, predictable story line.

Buy the DVD instead

Like others have commented the quality of the transfer was not that great. Probably could have gotten just the same quality from a upscaled DVD. Also like one of the other posters said you have to turn on subtitles otherwise you don't know what is going on through half the movie. The DVD automatically subtitles the foreign language parts while this one doesn't. Basically I wish I hadn't spent $10 on it.
What's great about it: It's on Blu-Ray and it is the Stargate movie!
What's not so great: Pretty much everything else
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The NETGEAR Dual-Band N600 Router with 8 x 4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem with N600 simultaneous dual band WiFi router and integrated DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem, provides 8x faster download speeds, up to 340 Mbps. It's CableLabs DOCSIS 3.0 Certified to work with U.S. cable Internet providers.

Dual band?

Is the modem itself dual band, or, is it the router function that is dual band. I have a dual band router from netgear, should I get a new modem?
The wireless router is dual band (ie 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz). If you currently have a separate modem and then a dual band Netgear Router then I wouldn't bother unless you just want to have one piece of hardware instead of two or are renting the modem from your cable provider.

upgradeable?

is the c3700 N600 upgradable from the 802.11n, to the new standard 802.11ac via firmware? I saw several listings that showed it could be upgraded. is this true?
I'm not a 100% positive, but in general when a new standard (like B, G, N, AC) comes out it requires new hardware. The only way it would be upgradeable via Firmware would be if it had Beta AC (so it would be listed as supporting AC most likely) and the Firmware ups it to the final standard. This occurred a lot with Wireless N since it was in "beta" for a long time before the standards were finalized. This wasn't the case with AC.

Logitech K360 wireless keyboard is ready when you are. This compact and portable keyboard fits into your tight workspaces, small offices or wherever you take your laptop or computer. Enjoy more comfort with a layout you're used to in a space-saving design that's about 20 percent smaller than our standard keyboards. Equipped with a number pad and 12 easy access keys, you can be more productive at home or at work. Logitech Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity gives you the reliability of a cord with wireless convenience and freedom - all in a tiny Logitech Unifying receiver that's small enough to stay in your laptop and also lets you add up to 6 compatible devices to it.

K360 Keyboard

Will this keyboard work with my M510 Logitech mouse on my Windows 8.1 From 1 USB port?
Yes the M510 uses the Unifying adapter so you just need to launch the software and turn the keyboard off and then on and it will sync with your USB nub from your mouse.

I am using a K250 keyboard, K360 keyboard and a M570 Trackball all on one unifying device nub.

Can I buy a COX cable modem at Best Buy for less.

Anyone buy an Arris 600 Series DOCSIS 3.0 Cable modem? Is this the same one COX cable sells or rents?
Most likely it will work, but it probably is not the one Cox sells or rents. Sorry this is one of those things you just have to buy and try and return it if it doesn't work. My experience with cable has always been just plug and play as long as the cable modem supported DOCSIS. You might be able to call Cox and ask them but most likely they will just tell you that you have to buy theirs or rent theirs and they don't support any others and won't help you. That is one of the pitfalls of buying your own modem.

If I use a internet extender would I have to get one for a room that is detached from my house?

Not sure I understand your question. I assume you have a Wireless router in your house but have a detached garage/building that you also want wireless in? If that is the case then I would suggest the Netgear Powerline 500 802.11n Wireless Access Point. Now this only works if the detached building is on the same power (from the power company, or sometimes same breaker box). What you do is plug one with the wireless on it into the detached room and the other in the wall next to the router and use the included RJ-45 cable to go from the router to the plug on the wall.

wireless router

need a wireless router - house is around 2,000 sq ft - stream movies (netflix) , laptops, i phones, play station - have no idea what size or model to get - help please ......
These are the best routers out there imo. They should provide a strong enough signal to cover most of the house depending on the type of construction materials and number of walls and such.

what model should I replace my old wireless router with

My eight year old NetGear wireless router (model WGR614 v8) has died and I want to replace it. What model should I repace it with?
The best routers imo right now are the Asus RT-N66R or RT-N66U's. As long as you don't mind only having Wireless N instead of Wireless AC. Both are identical except R stands for Retail (ie Best Buy).

If you want Wireless AC then I would suggest the RT-AC68P.

What device do I need?

I live in a remote area. I have a laptop for which I can access the internet with what looks like a flash drive(provided by AT&T, has a phone number link if that helps) what I would like to know: is there anything I can use to get internet access on another device in other rooms in my house, or is my only option unplugging the "flash drive" from the laptop and plugging it into another device? (my daughter got a tablet as a gift and it's been difficult to use properly) I am not tech savvy at all, so please explain to me in easy to understand terms. Thanks so much!
Sounds like you have something like the ATT Beam. What you want is the ATT Velocity or ATT Unite. I would go back to the ATT store and tell them your situation and they should hook you up. Not sure there is any devices you can just plug your current device into and it would turn it into a wifi hotspot that would be available at Best Buy or elsewhere.
