Got this for mother's day with a DS. The program is very well designed and has great extra features like tips and techniques. But, if you are experienced and confident in the kitchen it will be too basic for you. I really don't use it a lot. Of course it was a very thoughtful gift but even my husband sees it probably isn't ideal for me. Note that the source of the recipes is a Japanese culinary institute of some sort.
What's great about it: well designed, nice extra instruction for techniques
What's not so great: if you are an experienced cook it is too basic
I would recommend this to a friend!
