The ever-growing fan base for WB's teen-Superman saga can relive the best moments of their show's first season with this handsomely presented box set. Comprising all 21 episodes, Smallville: The Complete First Season offers a crisp transfer of every segment, each presented as it was originally aired, in letterboxed format with Dolby stereo sound. Beyond that, commentary and deleted scenes are provided for two episodes: the pilot, which has comments from director David Nutter as well as the show's executive producers, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar; and "Metamorphosis," which is analyzed by Nutter and Gough. Rounding out the disc are a complement of promotional ads, an "interactive" look at the town of Smallville, a DVD-ROM link for online bonus access, and a storyboard-to-screen analysis of the pilot episode.

The series of smallvill is great to watch. I like it because it shows detail and you get to see who superman is were he came from and how he was raised. I own seasons 1-7 season 8 comes out in august. season 5 was by far my favorate! but i really injoyed season 1 i borrowed it from a family member just to see if i liked the series and i ended up buying all seasons. the 1st season opens up nice it brings you to the moment superman(clark kent) arives on earth. and it makes you want to know more! season one is a really great season and anyone who likes superman would live this series!!
What's great about it: This series is fun to watch and it gives more insight as to were superman came from and how he was raised.
What's not so great: the case the season comes in is big and hard to store.
