I got this over a month ago and I havent put it down since. Its incredibly comfortable to play. I also have the NEW Nintendo 3DS XL that just came out but I still end up playing the 2DS a lot more. It might lack 3D buuuuut playing Mario Kart 7 for long periods on the 2DS is super comfortable verus a complete strain on my thumb holding down the A button. For certain games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros the 2DS is esential. Best $100 I ever spent. Ive completely forgotten about my PS3 and other video games.

The single player is ok. Too much hollywood flash. Trying to make it into an action movie kinda stuff. The ending is the exact same as the previous two games. Cod4 = pistol shot to bad guy, win game. W@W = exact same. MW2 = knife throw to bad guy, win game. Cant believe how lame they ended the last THREE games the same way. Slowmo kill saving your buddy and its over. Overall still fun. The multiplayer can burn. Its the worst of all 4 latest games following the CoD4 pattern. The killstreaks are sooo stupid. Player controlled missles that show where your at? Player controlled death ships that shot missles at displayed targets. You can get like 10-15 kills with these things!!!! On CoD4 and W@W you had 3 kill streaks and you might get a few kills for them but this game went waaaaaay over the top. They changed the perks too much. The pro perks were cool but the effects they gave were rediculous. They turned this CoD game into a Halo copy. Think about it for a second. ZERO fall damage with commando pro. Long distance lunge attacks with a knife? Unlimited sprinting ability?!?! I thought this was modern warfare? Not super human combat. The one thing that makes me sooo mad is the marathon/lightweight/commando tactical knife combo that most players use onilne. Makes it completely annoying to play getting knifed because the character runs sooo fast you cant shoot him in time before he turns to mist 20ft away and reappears with a knife inside of you. Stupid. Hate it.

What's not so great: multiplayer cheapness
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only reason I didnt give this controller a 100% score is because its somewhat expensive at $40 and the analog sticks could have more grip on them. My thumbs slip a lot on a new controller. There are few controllers that compare to this one, especially for FPS games. These controllers will last forever if you treat um right. I have only ever needed my original controller and after 5 years I broke it over a game of Black Ops. Havent played the same since I broke the poor guy. Theres no reason to ever buy a 3rd party controller with this system unless its a Razer Onza which is equally as good. And this wired controller will get the job done for less money and you dont have to fiddle with batteries, buying rechargeable ones or anything of that junk. Better for the hardcore online players.
What's great about it: absolutely amazing controller
What's not so great: nothing that wont make me not buy it

The PDP brand controllers for XBOX 360 are pretty darn good for the price. Gamestop rebrands them to sell in their store for $25 (non After-glow type). Its a very good controller. Best 3rd party controller Ive ever used so far. Im still waiting on my Razer Onza to come in the mail and I think that will change soon. Its not better than a Microsoft brand controller. But you have to pay $10 extra for their wired controller. Anyway its very comfortable, thats always my biggest nitpick about 3rd party controllers. Original controllers rarely have that problem so I dont know how controller companies screw that one up. The analog sticks could be less sensitive. Slightly moving a microsoft controller would slightly move the screen or what ever your moving. Sometimes with the Afterglow it just jumps full speed as if you moved the stick completely to one side. But unlike the Microsoft analog sticks this controller features fantastic grip on the thumbsticks. Not as good as lets say Sony's but way nice. I just opened a fresh microsoft controller and my thumbs slip all over that thing. Buttons feel great and overall construction is high. I would skip the afterglow and get the regular version of the controller. The texturized finish is better on the normal one and youll be happier holding onto it. This controller is my main CoD controller at the moment as well and I dont do any worse.
What's great about it: price, comfortable, great quality
What's not so great: gimick controller, plastic shell texture
I would recommend this to a friend!
