Manage up to 8 of your home theater electronics devices with this Logitech Harmony 700 915-000162 universal remote, which features a brilliant color command screen for easy navigation. One-touch activity buttons simplify device selection.

Does not have a touch screen

This is a nice 6 device remote. But I'm writing mainly to point out that Best Buy's description is wrong. This remote does not have a touch screen. It has a color display with buttons beside the LCD to perform the functions on the screen. This works perfectly well, but is by no means a "touch" screen.
Only the One, 900 and 1100 have touch screens. And of those, only the One has sequence capability. Logitech removed sequences from the 900 and 1100.
Durability is unknown on this new, but most harmony's buttons wear out prematurely in my experience.
Value would be higher if it could handle more than 6 devices like it's predecessors could.
What's great about it: Great ergonomics and colored buttons
What's not so great: 6 device limit
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have 9 year old TV can I hook up a blu-ray dvd player and recieve streaming movies from Netflix ?

Yes. Just use the composite outputs from the player (yellow/red/white). If your TV only has a coax input, you can buy an RF modulator or use an old VCR and connect composite from the player then coax from the modulator or VCR. The picture won't be HD of course, but it will be high quality SD.

I have an philips hdtv 2006 and a new blu ray player. But my bluray won't play.hooked up with hd cable

On your player, make sure film mode or 24p is off and that you have selected a resolution compatible with your TV, like 720p or 1080i. Otherwise try component cables (red/green/blue video and red/white audio).
