I use it in...:Large home
Verified Purchase:Yes
I have 3 AppleTV devices in my home, and I use them to stream my music and movies to my TV sets both inside and outside with iTunes. I do not use the movie rental feature usually. Netflix and YouTube are used frequently.
Device seems very well built, and all my devices have held up well.
My Best Buy number: 0204150006

SynopsisHome used to be where the heart was. America used to be free. Now, home is nothing but a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs, where high school stadiums have become detention centers and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. Fear and despair have crept into the United States that you knew and loved. Worldwide conflict, dwindling resources and economic crisis have taken their toll; and now, in 2027, the savage, nuclear-armed Greater Korean Republic clenches the US in a brutal occupation. But the enemy forgot one little thing about the USA: they may have seized our land and weakened our state, but no one can weaken the spirit of the American people. Not since George Washington led the patriots in the Revolutionary War has America fought a battle so vital to the freedom of the nation and so close to the hearts of the people. Not since then have we had to band together to protect our Homefront. Take the front lines alongside the colorful characters of the Resistance as you employ daring guerrilla tactics, commandeer military vehicles and unleash epic warfare across sprawling battlefields with first-person sharpshooting action. The heart-pounding, hair-raising exhilaration of the struggle springs to life when you take the fight online and experience multiplayer infantry, helicopter and drone battles the likes of which you've never seen. Enter a ghost town where the residents have been relocated to nearby labor camps in the "Suburb" Xbox 360-exclusive multiplayer map. Featuring empty houses and buildings, this infantry- and drone-only map offers extensive cover locations while rooftops and tree houses make for ideal sniper locations. Mask your fear, take your weapon in hand and bear the title "American" with pride: this is the call to save your Homefront.

One of the best stories I have played for a FPS.

I have played a lot of first-person shooters. This reminds me a lot of a Call of Duty title in how it controls, but it has a much more somber mood like with a Resistance game. I actually enjoyed collecting the newspaper articles that showed how the USA came to be invaded by Korea. Someone really put a lot of thought into this story.
It is challenging on the Guerrilla setting, and similar to most COD games on veteran (not like COD: World at War). I did not get to play the on-line portion. I bought this new from Best Buy, but it didn't come with the on-line code that was supposed to be included.
For the parents out there, there is a LOT of bad language in this game (rated M game). The F word is used constantly, and there are not content editing options like on Gears of War or some of the COD games.
What's great about it: The story was extremely interesting.
What's not so great: Not as polished as some AAA FPS titles, but still good.

Favorite action game on xbox 360 so far

Got this at Best Buy just recently.
I am about 25% of the way through this game so far and I can't tell you how good this game really is. The voice actors are great (especially the Joker). Its fun to watch even if you are not playing. It has lots of small things done right, and it makes it feel like they didn't just piece something together.
Difficulty is appropriate. Teen rating is appropriate for the game so I don't have to worry about keeping the kids out quite as much.
I've played a LOT of games so it is saying a lot when I say it is my favorite action game to date for the xbox 360. It is not nearly as difficult as Ninja Gaiden 2 but is plenty difficult for the hardcore gamer. Unless you just hate Batman, get this game!

if you have a wireless network adaptor do you need a router?

I had the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter and gave it away. It only works with a select few wireless routers. At the time in 2008, these were all 802.11g and none were 802.11n certified.
For less money and easier setup than the $99 adapter, you can use any router to expand your existing wireless network. Then just plug your Xbox 360 directly into the 2nd wireless router. Probably the easiest router is the Apple Airport Express given its ease of use and small size, but anything should work.
Also, when you plug your Xbox 360 directly into a router, you don't have to adjust your NAT settings (don't have to call your internet provider or Xbox Live).
I hope this answers your question.
