Foam and wonderful smells

I recently got another one of these units as my old one was leaking. It leaked constantly. I had to keep it on a deep tray to prevent it from taking nasty water concentrate from one part of the carpet and depositing it on another. So I thought it was old, or just unlucky, nope...new one leaks too.
It’s going back tomorrow; maybe I can get something that doesn't leak all over everything.
But If I stopped there I would not be doing anyone a service about this product. First let me tell you what this wet-vac is good for. Small and well contained fresh messes. It will suck up a lot of water if needed, though it does have trouble pulling water out of fibers, like a carpet, rugs, couches etc.
So fresh messes in a small area, good to go, unless it leaks and now you have a large mess in a larger, much larger area. But I digress.
So if your stain is old, or its dried, or whatever, this vac is terrible for it. At least on its own. The solution is so bad, I shudder to think trying to deep clean with it. It just cannot take away stains or other things from fabric.
Smallish to medium areas take an inordinately huge amount of time to clean. The initial spray and clean with 1 pass doesn't take very long, but that leaves lots of cleaning residue on the floor. And as stated before, it doesn't pull water from fabric or fiber very well. So if you want it all up, over and over and over and over and over again you must go.
Now let’s move on to the foam part, this is my favorite, really, honest.
That section of the instruction manual that tells you not to use any other type of cleaner, that section we all know and love, well I will share with you why. FOAM. In case you missed it. FOAM FOAM FOAM.
Most cleaning products, carpet cleaners included, will foam when used, this increases their surface area substantially and thusly cleaning performance goes way up. Now normally this is fine, but when in combination with this particular vacs design, horrible things ensue.
How the nozzle is designed, it squeezes water into a small area, then it becomes a huge area and is forced into the waste tank by the rest of the suctioned air, this is a super duper foaming action on anything that can foam. It also has another consequence I will go into in a moment. So this foam will build up rapidly in the waste tank and then find its way to the area where the air that was forced into the waste tank goes, out the bottom of the unit after being used as a cooling source for the internals.
So this nasty dirty and likely smelly foam will get inside your unit, all over whatever is in their too cool it, and leak out the sides and bottom. And if your cleaning up something particularly persistent, like cat urine, well....I hope you really like that smell every time you use your vacuum.
So onto the smell. Since it uses the sucked in air to cool and pull through waste water, the air will pick up the scent of whatever it is you are cleaning. So look forward to your whole room smelling like that.
So just use the cleaner made for it you say. Valid point. But you may not be able to control what was used to clean that area in months previous. Even a commercial carpet cleaning can render this thing useless due to massive foam issues. Cleaned that area with a pet stain remover before? Prepared to spend an hour+ trying to get rid of all the foam?
And as stated before, the cleaner solution is not the most effective stuff. Pretreatment with other Bissell products made for use with carpet cleaners? Enjoy your Foam and smell.
There is one more thing I want to point out about it. The description says it has a strong spray. My spray bottles, all of them, having a stronger spray than this thing. It doesn't trickle out, but is by no means strong. And as said before the suction has trouble pulling from fibers.
Yet I give 3 stars, as it does certain things in controlled situations quite well.
If these things describe your situations, go for it. If not. Get something else.
What's great about it: Good for certain exact situations.
What's not so great: Tendency to leak all over the place and make your home smell terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do I have to buy a microwave at Best Buy to it installed by Best Buy?

I want to purchase a microwave but it is only available as a Special Order item and I would have to pay $70 in shipping. I can purchase the same item and get free shipping for another source but would like to have it installed by Best Buy. So the question is "Do I have to buy a microwave at Best Buy to it installed by Best Buy?"
Installed, no. Delivered, yes.

Especially if they sell the same model. Not sure on cost though.

how much does it cost to fix a netbook?

i have a netbook asus eee and it has a virus. i cannot reinstall the software because i've lost the cd and i was wonderin how much it would cost to get it fixed.
199.99 diagnostic and repair. unless its under manufacturer warrante then its 130.

Also, even if you did get cds from mfg, they cost around $25, the net books dont have CD drives, so you would have to have an external around.

hmm, must be from up north, starting to snow this time of year. Best bet, bring TV inside, out of snow.

But kidding aside, best bet is to change cable out and see if that fixes it. if not, change source, if not, bring in tv :)

Through the geek squad, you looking at min 250 and max around 700

However, if you buy the panel yourself you can usually get them to install it for a labor charge of 49.99

This way often ends up be MUCH cheaper.

can you fix the sony hifi stereo cd player at your stores?

WE can fix them, but we have to send them to a service center to do it. its usually a 34.95 deposit to send them off. You get a call with an estimate, and if you approve the estimate, the 34.95 goes towards that total cost.

tl:dr no, we send it off.

Can a broken LCD screen on a camera be fixed ?

The inside screen of my camera is cracked, it still turns on and takes pictures I just can not use the screen. The outside has no scratches and is smooth, it's just the inside of the screen.
It can be fixed. Depending on the camera the cost may or may not be worth it. You are looking at ~100 - 150 for a standard point and shoot screen install. the labor is killer.

The geeksquad can send it off to be repaired, or a local camera place can do it as well, if they work on the type you have.
