Junk

At first I thought this was a good $$ deal - until I tried cooking an 8 minute meal. The unit shut down at 7 1/2 minutes. It over heated and would not turn back on. Left it unplugged for a half hour, then it worked later. None of the vents were blocked - unit sucks in air in the back and exhausts it out the left side. Contacted Sharp over two weeks ago. NO response back from them - they evidently don't care. Quality of the box is extremely cheap. The case metal is just thick enough to hold the paint on. Whole unit vibrates while running. Turntable now makes noise. Gonna turn this one back in.
My Best Buy number: 2012013184
What's great about it: Nothing, but it might boil water if it stays on long enough.
What's not so great: No support from Sharp. Case very thin metal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stay away from APC

Bought the unit from Best Buy, had to take it back the next day. The USB port did not work. Forget about talking to Tech Support at APC - they are totally worthless, and could care less. If they can't even make a product that works "out of the box" - I will no longer buy from APC. Now the replacement units' display is going bad. Nomoreapc4me.

Battery

Can I purchase a replacement battery for this UPS (APC Back-UPS XS1300))? What is the part number? Can I buy it from Best Buy? Price?
The batteries available from APC are cost prohibitive. More than a replacement unit. Go to your local Batteries Plus store and pick up 2 each 12 volt sealed lead acid. Example: UPS Battery Replacement 12V 8Ah AGM Battery WKA12-8F2. It's easy to remove the battery pack from the UPS unit. Cut the tape hold the two batteries together, and then disconnect the wires. Make a note on how the wires are connected before hand, then rewire with two new batteries. Throw some tape back on, then re-insert the two batteries. My replacement batteries have lasted years longer that the original APC batteries.

Sensor cook or not

Sharp R309 Microwave, on Best Buy website, overview says "sensor cooking" under product features. Specifications show "Sensor Cook" - No. Does the 309 use a sensor or not. Do the one touch settings only use preset times or do they actually use a sensor to properly cook the food?
Nope - no sensor cooking on this cheap model. There are a few presets on the face panel, but no temperature sensor that plugs into the food and the oven.
