I have had this Samsung for about a year now and it has been great. I paid 1600 for it so I think the sale price on it is awesome! People should be jumping on that. Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games look great and I have Dish Network HD and that looks good as well. Standard def is acceptible too. I would def reccomend this tv. It has a HDMI and composite input on the side for easy access too :)
What's great about it: Great price, and easy to hook up
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm thinking of purchasing this set but wary of the comments by a reviewer regarding green screen problems. What are these?
Hey gypsybluz I've owned the tv for over a year and haven't had this happen to me. Its been great and I have Dish Network, Xbox 360, and a Playstation 3 all hooked to it and haven't had any issues.

I want to hook up my Playstaion 3 to it....Will that mess up the picture ..I know if you put it on the plasma it will ruined it..What about a LCD?.
It will not mess up the picture at all. LCDs are meant to game on. I've recently been playing Uncharted 2 but I own a Xbox 360 too.

What is the difference between LN40B530, LN40B540, and LN40B550
They all seem pretty similar to me, but there are price differences. I can tell the number of inputs are different, and maybe the styling, but will the picture be the same for all the TVs?
The picture on each Samsung will relatively be the same because of the same specs. I have a LN40B550 and its been great.

I tend to leave my old tv on all night with no problems. Can I do the same with a flat screen TV?
You can! I've accidently left it on when I went on vacation to Virginia and it still had no problems.

Does this TV have Audio Outputs?
Any TV without an audio output is junk. Does anyone know if this TV has an audio output? If so how many and what kind?

Does it have earphone connection?
yes you can use the port by the VGA connection for earphones if needed.

Why are Samsung 55" TVs so much more expensive than LG when it seems like they have really similar features?
Samsungs are always usually more expensive but I mean its the official HDTV of the NFL. LG tvs look just as good.

Gaming on Samsung LCD-LED TV?
I am looking into buying the 40" Samsung 120Hz LCD-LED HDTV. I want to use the tv to play on my PS3 and Xbox 360. Since these this LED technology is fairly new, is it ok to play video games. Will the tv cause ghosting, or problems with image freezing like the plasma tv's?
Hey it is PERFECTLY ok to play video games on the LED tvs. I own a 55 inch LG LED LCD HDTV and its been wonderful. Xbox 360 PS3 or Wii is just fine. It's just like playing them on a LCD except with a LED you have those lamps in the back making the colors stand out better. Wait till you play Uncharted 2 its amazing :)
