poignant and lovely

This long awaited album from Sarah McLachlan is haunting and beautiful. As usual, she delivers poignant lyrics that are very easy to relate to. There is a slight departure from her norm as she explores some new rhythms, keeping things fresh and modern. Yet she manages to deliver us with her voice, ah that voice, that makes us shiver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent cd, wide variety of stylings

I found this cd really enjoyable. The interesting thing about it is that the song choices are really from a variety of styles, yet Buble takes them and makes them his own. While the variety of pieces on this are covers, he still manages to own them - to make you believe him.
As always, his voice is amazing, and takes you to another place. There are several standouts, including All of Me and Stardust, to name a couple. It occurred to me recently that there is enough variety on here to make this a great choice for a gift for almost anyone. I would say that even for a list of mostly covers, this is still a truly sincere album.
I would recommend this to a friend!
