APC 750VA Not so good

Brought this home from the store and did the usual with the battery connections on a UPS. Ok, everything is connected and plug it in...
Waited for something good to happen while the little green light blinks on and off, only to find myself in pain with a never ending tone of annoyance coming from the UPS. I have left the unit plugged in for several hours now and will check on it once more. This is headed back to BestBuy for replacement. Good luck.
What's great about it: Excellent as extension cord or boat anchor
What's not so great: Wish it had a battery back up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
