Great buy at current price.

I already own the 6300 and wanted to upgrade to HDR and wide color gamut. They are phasing out this model with the new models coming in. Picture is great, colors pop. You may have to do some tweaking to your liking but at 999.99 it is well worth the money. Get it while you can before they stop carrying this model.

Great for movies and games but not music

I have owned Bose products before, mainly home stereo speakers. This system is good for everything but music. I could see someone without a dedicated sound card using these but they lack mid range. The music sounded like it was missing something, "muddy" may be the correct term. I returned them after a couple of days for the Klipsch system and I was pleasantly surprised at how much better the Klipsch sound. Too many people automatically associate Bose with great sound, unfortunately that is not always the case.
TLDR: These are good some general purpose for someone without a dedicated sound card but for music they lack quite a bit.

Replaced Bose companion 5, glad I did

I purchased Bose companion 5 system on a whim. They sound OK but something was missing. After using for a few days and reading reviews, I decided to return them and get these. WOW and WOW again, these speakers provide it all, crisp highs, solid mid range and great bass. At 150 they are a complete steal. I read about the cracking nose, or one side going out. If you are having that issue, take a look online and there are videos showing how use WD-40 or tuner cleaner to solve that problem. Also, the better your sound card the better these sounds obviously.

After learning from the experts that Ultra HD technology is baloney unless you watch TV less than 2' from the screen, I found this excellent product. Only gripe is the lack of a small led letting me know if the set is on or off.

Those so called "experts" have misled you. 4K is very noticeable especially on a decent set. I am truly an expert, I have been in "TV" industry for over 20 years BTW.

Looks like best buy decided to take the physical disc out of the box so they could sell it, and instead give us a digital code. Every other retailer has a physical disc.

Two days after I bought this tv from you Costco had the same tv for $300- less. Could not get any satisfaction from calling your store and if it wasn't such a hassle returning instead i just won't go back to Best Buy

Why would you knock the rating of the TV, this is what the review is for, the equipment itself. Also, if you did your homework, you will notice the model numbers for costco are NOT the same as for best buy. It is a way around having to price match, on Costco's behalf.

The TV seems really great. I exchanged a Vizio P55C for this because their marketing mentions that this model has Dolby Vision. I get the tv home, sign into the Netflix App, throw on Daredevil and did not see the familiar "Dolby Vision" Branding as the show loads up. I did some digging online and found that on Sony's Website there is a "1" in the corner next to the Dolby Vision branding mentioning that it will be added via Firmware update sometime this year. Can anyone confirm this? If this TV does not offer Dolby Vision, it is falsely advertising a KEY feature of the TV and the reason I decided to purchase it.

I purchased a different brand last Aug from best buy and the description clearly stated it was an HDR TV, not compatible but that it WAS HDR. Fast forward a couple of months later and the description had changed to HDR compatible We all know that being compatible with a signal is a different ball game from being able to display that signal the way it was intended. Thankfully I have upgraded to a true HDR TV .
I have learned with new tech, never go by BB description, do a ton of research online before buying but I do feel your pain.

A really great product, but have some issues with attaching old VCR and DVD player to the TV. Also, it will not pick up signal from router (new) at only 25 feet. Working on these issues, and hope to be able to rectify it.

I dont want to come off as mean but if you are still using VHS and an older dvd player with no HDMI out, this is probably not the TV for you, It is time to let those legacy products go and put them on a shelf where they belong.

If you're only concerned with picture quality, the Samsung KS8000 series is fantastic. I would prefer that this is a "dumb TV" and I could just plug my components into it and be done with it. However, the smart TV isn't that smart and causes many unnecessary headaches.
The TV will switch from one connected to device automatically when it senses another one has been turned on. Unfortunately this doesn't work correctly and some devices like my computer, PS4 and Nintendo Switch ping the Internet for downloads while in sleep mode. This activates the TV to change the input, which happens several times an evening while consuming other media. The feature cannot be turned off.
Several of the apps in the TV will freeze, requiring a reboot by unplugging the TV and plugging in again. Simply turning the TV off is insufficient. Sometimes the reboot requires logging in again, which is a hassle to type in a username and password using the TV remote.
If Samsung patched the automatic device switching, and I abandoned the TV apps to use a Roku instead, I could see myself giving this TV a higher rating.

When I see the Negative Nancy reviews on a TV of this quality, it makes me pause. From my experience, it's usually user error. Which seems to be the case here. This TV is nothing short of Spectacular. Sure, It's not the OLED Q series, but this is the 9 series from 2016 with a few upgrades. as of 2017 Samsung dropped the SUHD label and the 9 series all together, too confusing for the Customer. This is my 2nd 4k TV, previously owned and LG 65UB9500...which was great until the panel went bad. Good thing I use the DTV protection premier plan which nearly gave me enough cash to cover this one. I went with Samsung over LG for several reasons. 1. I feel Samsung is the better quality. 2. I liked 3D, but can respect that they know the market just didn't cover it, so they dropped it. 3. More compatibility with all my other gear than an LG or Sony. and lastly...the picture quality is amazing! For those of you that say it isn't, you're doing something wrong or you're using the wrong gear. All I know is everything played through my XBOX 1S is 4K looks 10 times more glorious than my old 4K TV. Even lame DTV 720p channels, which are the majority of DTV's programming looks better on this TV. The 4K channels on DTV look simply stunning and Netflix 4K (and even 1080P) just look absolutely stunning. Black levels, clarity, lack of seeing pixels, just amazing. My only complaint is the power cord...it's too short for use on a stand if your gonna run it down the channel they designed to come out the base of the left foot, you only have about 10 inches after that. Nothing an extension cord wont fix, but nonetheless an oversight by Samsung on an otherwise amazing TV

I am not sure where you got that info, but this is not even close to the 8 series from 2016. Look at the in depth professional reviews and measurements and you will see while this is a good TV its no where near the quality of last years 8 and 9 series.

I want to attach to my tablet. .will these work?
Yes, they had the standard 3.5 mm connection and an additional 3.5 mm aux input.
