Some could say this is just a stand but this is so much more for me. It is a speaker mount solution in which I never had a speaker mount solution for the speaker I inherited. My surround sound speakers were given to me but they never had an original mounting bracket. I have searched for a compatible mounting solution for these speakers for literally years and never found one. I also wasn't ready to drill any holes in the walls or ceiling if I had found one. I almost had given in to just replacing the speakers with a whole new set and while I was shopping around Best Buy found these stands. I was reluctant even though it said that it had many different ways to mount. Finally, I brought 2 sets home and found the perfect fit for these speakers. I was very satisfied for this and would have rated perfect 5's in stars but the only problem I had was they do not extend in as much height as I would like them too. And they don't always balance well. If I don't touch them or adjust them any way they won't tip over. I would definitely recommend these to a friend that had the same issue of needing a universal mount or didn't want holes in the walls or ceiling.
What's great about it: Compatible, clean look and sturdy for the most part
What's not so great: Not able to set the stand up as high as I would like it.

I have been searching for wireless speakers for my system for a long time, probably many years. I could not find an affordable or practical speaker set that would accommodate me. I finally spoke to a BB employee who referred me to this wireless setup that used my original surround speakers. I was actually pessimistic that the sound quality and reception would make it work it. Brought it home, set it up, calibrated my whole system. Now I would never know the difference that it was wireless. you have one wireless receiver and one broadcaster. plug your speakers in the receiver and plug your broadcasters in to your appropriate speaker connections on the sound receiver component system. Real easy if you ever wire speakers to your sound system before. I kept the box in case I had to return it but I can see me using this simple set up for a long time.
What's great about it: Good reception, clean sound, no distortion, limits the wire mess without fishing
What's not so great: Can't think of anything wrong with it yet
This extensive release includes the original three films from the science fiction juggernaut Star Wars franchise: Star Wars (aka Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope), The Empire Strikes Back (aka Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back), and Return of the Jedi (aka Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi).

This is Star Wars. The original trilogy. I did purchase the prequel before this at Bestbuy but it can't beat the originals. I was there when the 2nd two sequels came out. I collected many of the original action figures and other toys. When I watch these movies I not only see movie but I even see a flashback of my life when they came out. They added some good special fx and some more scenes that was not in the original. I could say they ruined it because of that but it actually compliments the movies. Buy it and like it. I now got the whole saga and given the chance I would purchase and other additions of sequels or prequels. I don't see that happening so I have to accept what I got.
What's great about it: A good classic made better, HD, SFX and added scenes.

Good size speaker with good strong and clear sound. Fits nicely on the shelf under my flat screen. I prefer quality and balance when it comes to sound. Though I like visual effects in movies what makes it for me is how the sound in the movies brings it together. I like the sound effects from movies but I always find myself turning the volume up during quiet dialogue and then all the sudden I am blown out of my chair with all the dynamics of music and explosions and try frantically to turn the volume back down so I don't disturb the neighbors. I got this center speaker to give me more of a balance between all the sound elements hoping that it would bring in more of the dialogue. I haven't found that balance yet but keep trying. I am sure it is not the speakers fault but it was the reason I bought it in the first place. Again, by itself it can be a very loud and crystal clear but hasn't found it's place in my own home theater system.
What's great about it: Strong clear sound. Could perform real loud if I wanted to
What's not so great: Still having trouble picking up the movie dialogue

Only one pioneer speaker

I have 4 KLH satellite surround speakers that I have had for a while. Not to far in the past I got a Sony subwoofer and I have both auto and manually calibrated the 5.1 speakers on my Yamaha RX-V2700 receiver. Before this center channel speaker there was close to no dialogue w/ crushing sound effects in the room shaking half the house. A few years ago Bestbuy had came out and setup this system for my step father. I have to be honest I don't remember how his home theater sounded. But I know he enjoyed good quality sound as much as I did. I bought this Pioneer center-channel speaker which sounds good by itself and can really carry a lot of volume and depth but I bought it specifically to carry the dialogue. I always start off with the movie turned up so I can hear the dialogue. As soon as there is music, sirens and explosions I am scared for my life how loud the whole system gets. I turn it down immediately and when the dialogue only comes back I try to bring the volume back up to hear it again. I am wearing down the volume buttons. I gave the 5 star rating to this speaker purchase for a good reason. It is a good speaker by itself but it is not ready for my home theater yet.
