The movie is a great way to reintroduce the characters and the overall plot line to a new generation. The acting was perfect, the casting was perfect, and the story was exceptional. The extras on the dvd set are a great compliment to the movie. You really get to see the fun the cast had making this movie and how they achieved a phenominal new iteration of the Star Trek universe.
This particular packageing was a great draw as the divison badges of the enterprise crew are the icon most people associate with Star Trek. To have a set included with the dvd was a great way to enjoy the experience of Star Trek.

What's great about it: The movie is fantastic and the extras are well worth it
What's not so great: The display box for the badges is a bit chincy
