Must have for any Rocky fan
on January 8, 2010

I bought my aunt her first DVD player this year for Christmas. She is a HUGE Rocky fan. Watches it every time it comes on TV. She always complains when the something happens to take her away from Rocky. I found this on sale and knew I had to get it for her. She was giddy when she saw it. I think she's had her own Rocky marathon at least a dozen times since Christmas. Every time I talked to her, I hear one of the Rocky's in the background. At least now she doesn't rush me off the phone to watch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Use this intelligent and ultra compact adapter to connect your iPhone~ 5 featuring the Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.

Epic Fail Apple =(
By kschu from Maryland
If you have a case for your iPhone 5, this adapter will NOT work! Tried with a speck case and otterbox but the connector was too short to connect with the added thickness of a case. For the otterbox, even if you trim off the port cover, this adapter will not fit.
When plugged into vehicle it does charge and play music. But it will NOT display album artwork or information (artist, album, song, etc.)
I will be receiving the cable adapter in three days and am keeping my fingers crossed! At least I know it will work with a case...

Apple fail or case fail?
October 14, 2012
After reading your review, I have to wonder whether the blame shouldn't be placed with the case manufacturers and not Apple. Apple had no way to design an adapter that would fit every case design out there, so they designed it to fit their own product. It seems to me that it is the cases designers who must design their products to work with any official Apple adapters or cords.

What to purchase?

Looking for an external hard drive, portable, 1 TB, to store music, pictures and videos. Looking for a reliable brand, at a good price. Pretty much the question is which hard drive is going to last many years, surviving a few drops to the floor?
I've only had mine for a little over a month, so I'm not yet sure on the lasting year part. However, the Iomega 1TB is working really well for me so far. It runs $100 at Best Buy. A nice value for the storage. I have a mac and it reformats easily. Mine is also partitioned into three separate partitions for multiple computers. Set up was a breeze. I was up and running in five minutes, including the reformatting and partitions. Hope this helps.
