the dad doesn't like it that much

Got a black one for my dad, he didn't like it too much. The power button was way too hard to press. The inner layer silicone has warped within a few days of use, maybe it was the heat trapped inside.

expensive, but worth it over the original

Very happy with it overall, except that I need to buy new filters. The first lens had a bright spot on the front lens, but bb did a good job on replacing it, after 3 calls totaling 1hr though. BB doesn't have a great customer service dept compared to some much smaller companies, and I feel that I just got lucky on my 3rd try getting a knowledgeable rep that can make a decision on replacing my lens.
I had the original version of this lens and it was pretty darn sharp already, but this one is even sharper, just like the 70-200 ii I had.

liked the plot, good action too

very bloody and good action, would've liked it better if the shootings was more realistic; they shoot a lot, but there wasn't enough impact scenes of the bullets hitting the objects/people, so all you see is the cops and bad guys fire their guns.

One of the earliest popular DVD releases, Luc Besson's fanciful, visually striking 1997 sci-fi epic The Fifth Element has a surprisingly spare presentation: it includes standard and widescreen aspect ratios, as well as Dolby Digital 5.1 and Stereo Audio in English and Spanish -- and that's it. While both the sound and audio preserve the film's intricate, and often witty, details, it's still a slightly disappointing package; filmographies, a making-of featurette, or even a trailer would make the disc more substantial. Though the film's fans would want it in any DVD version, The Fifth Element deserves a more thoughtful presentation than this, and Columbia TriStar obliged by releasing a deluxe edition in early 2005.

had the dvd, now the bluray
on April 16, 2013

i've bought the dvd when it first came out years ago, now that the bluray version is out and at a discounted price, i'd say it's worthy to get the better version of this movie.

50mm f/1.8 on Canon camera

I have a t3i. I just purchased a 50mm f/1.8 lense (not the standard size. It doesn't fit my t3i. I want to know is there anything I can buy to help the lense fit the t3i?
This lens should fit your t3i without problems, try again. Any EF and EF-S lens should fit your camera.
