Bad customer service

I did my homework when I purchased this Samsung set. It has good reviews. When they delivered it there were problems with my washer door. I looked up the reviews again. I noticed it had good reviews if the people did not have to deal with Samsungs customer service. The washer door did not line up properly. They sent out a tech and the tech said Samsung would not send out the part to fix the problem. He was told there was a known latch problem so they sent him a latch instead of the hinge. 4 calls, 4 live online sessions, 2 home visits and it is still not fixed. Do not call from work Samsung will not help you unless you are standing next to the unit (even though there were already open work orders and they had all of my info). The first home visit took a week and the second took 3 weeks. This put me over my thirty day return policy with Best Buy but they were awesome and extremely helpful. I am now going to try the Electrolux. I hear their service is much better!
What's not so great: I expected better customer service from Samsung!
Pros: look nice, sturdy detergent bin, fairly quiet, spin cycle dries clothes well
Cons: bad customer service, bleach dumps on clothing, clothes weren't as clean as i expected, long wash times, known problems with door latch, silvercare didn't seem to do anything
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
