I have seen numerous reviews on these machines. Seems like people love them or hate them. I just purchased this washer to replace an old top loader that was past its prime. My laundry room is on the second floor, so it was very important that the machine I selected have a proven vibration reduction system. This washer is very smooth. It takes about 45 seconds to counter what is otherwise an off balanced load, but then it is as smooth as silk. Even my old top loader (which spins at a third of the speed) wasn't this smooth.
What's great about it: Quiet and efficient
What's not so great: Expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is delivery and installation included in the price?
At Best Buy, it depends on your location and varies by product. Also, delivery may be free, but installation can be extra (Front load washers are extremely heavy so I recommend professional installation).

Samsung is going to discontinue this model and come out with a newer model. If this is true, when will it hit the market, and what it's capacity?
I believe the newest model incorporates "foam" technology. If you find a deal on the current model, buy it. Consumer Reports just finished testing the new version with foam technology and stated that it cleans no better than the previous version.

Why steam??
Is steam cleaning better?? What is different about it??
Steam is primarily a way to improve a washer's ability to kill bacteria eliminating the need for bleach (unless you want extra whitening power). I own this washer and the steam comes on automatically when I select the program for bedding. I no longer use bleach because the steam along with the silver care pretty much eliminates every living thing that might find its way onto your sheets. (I wash mine every 4 days).

Isn't my washer need to drain all the water out in high speed after a wash cycle before fill in more water for a rince cycle?
I own this washer and mine does drain the water out (as far as I can tell). You may see a small trickle of water after it drains (because the clothes are still damp) but you should not see significant water levels.

How much space is needed behind the washer and dryer. How much total depth space is needed? Is 36 inches enough?
How much space is needed behind the washer and dryer. How much total depth space is needed? I know the machine is 32 inches in depth, but there is a space requirement behind it. Is the 36.25 inches I have in my washroom enough?
I have this exact washer (just love it) and I have mine pushed back just enough to allow clearance for vents and hoses. However, you indicate that you only have about 4 inches. While this is enough space for your water hoses, it does not leave sufficient room for your dryer to vent (assuming your dryer is on the same wall). Unless of course your dryer can vent directly out the back wall (as opposed to the side or bottom).

Safe for dry clean only clothes?
I have seen conflicting info on the steam washers/dryers about whether dry clean only clothes can be cleaned using the steam settings. Any information with this model washer and the corresponding dryer would be appreciated.
Clothes designated as "dry clean only" should not be placed in any type of washing machine. Such clothes are not washed using water, but with a fluid at a professional dry cleaner. I do place certain garmets in the steam dryer for a freshening, but never linen or cashmere.

Microsoft Word won't let me open a restored document?
I was working on a paper for a college course I am taking and I left the room for a moment and when I came back in I noticed my computer automatically shut down. I turned it back on and opened word and saw the restored document on the left hand panel. I clicked read only (mistake on my part) and made changes and saved the document. I went back in today to look at the document but my computer will not let me open it anymore. Help!?
Click on your "start" button and they type the name of the document in the search space. You will probably find a suitable backup that you can open in Word. If necessary, do a search for *.wbk or *asd

Should my HP laptop be elevated for air circulation
Even with a high powered processor, you really don't need to elevate the laptop unless you have it sitting on a soft surface like your bed. Then, I would advise placing it on a hard surface.

It's not the software that is the problem. It's the small speakers which are typical of many laptops. That particular model is known for low quality sound (but otherwise a very good computer). I would just purchase a set of external speakers.
